One of my favorite tilesets is the Futuristic Tiles. I love the textural smoothness to it and there might be future/sci-fi tilesets out there, but either they're too dark or really just industrial settings with some computer monitors and maybe a sliding door or two thrown in to try to make it "feel" futuristic. The Futuristic Tiles strike a nice balance between the modern era and sleekness of the future.

Well, I've only bought one resource pack, but I'll bite. I like the XP soundtrack a lot.

The DS pack is one my most favorite packs, not only does it provide a plethora of resources to get started, but it also is very easy to provide my own resources as the design allows for quick and easy but decent looking sprites, tile editing and battler creations. It defiantly brings out the hidden nostalgia within me and I'm proud to be able to have access to these materials from the various awesome artists on this forum. =)

I really like 'Katakura Hibiki's Fantasy Hero Character Pack'. Because on studying the designs of the sprites he created, it allowed me to improve the quality of my own spriting ability and style.

RMDS/RMDS+ (treating both as the same due to similarity, except one has more stuff in a different theme, lol) are my fave, given the wide variety of graphics and tracks that can be found in them. The DS+ busts go well with the tilesets that come with the set, and the same applies to the RMDS pack, though for facesets only.

My favorite is DS and DS+, I love the pixels so much! I can't really choose between them, they're a single pack in my mind. I also love the music and the chibi battlers. The other battlers are really great too but the chibi ones are so cute! Speaking of cute, those sprites are adorable! They make me smile every time I see them.


I have a sneaking suspicion that my favorite pack is going to be replaced soon though. I just need a certain work in progress to be finished.

My favourite resource packs are futuristic tiles, wild west and both of DS ones and rural farm one too. Because futuristic tiles are one and only high quality pack future pack in the store. (Or in the whole internet, though! ) Wild west are really classic and different from other packs, it features a lot of real feel of wild west games. DS and DS+, which features are lot of sense and interest, and also features a generator, which is only on Rural farm pack and DS+. And each character features 4 types In DS. Everyone enjoy doing SNES styled games with lot of stuff. And rural farm pack is really interesting including it's generator and (pixelful) style. And the screenshots are my favourite!

And all these can give a sense full concepts and ideas with their own style and type.

Choosing was a hard-fought fight between the Samurai pack and the Futuristic Pack.  Both have so much to offer in different ways.  But in the end the Futuristic pack won out because it contains nearly all of the high quality futuristic resources that are available anywhere.  There is a great variety within the pack and the designs and palette are flexible enough to be incorporated into a wide range of settings.  It's even got parallax materials.  What's not to love about it?

My favorite graphics pack/packs is the DS resources! I love the style, especially the sprites. They are just too cute!

I haven't bought any of the music packs but from the samples I like pretty much all of Joel Steudler's music (most particularly his stuff from the Fantasy Adventure Mini Music Pack).

I was just thinking the other day that the only thing Harvest Moon fans needed now was some snazzy music to accompany Cel's tiles. This is uber snazzy.

I enjoy the Old School resource pack, because it reminds me so much of the Pokemon games I've enjoyed.

I've gotten enamored by the rural farm tiles. It's so bright and cute, brimming with potential. Also, it's still rather new and shiny. Liking harvest moon games has probably also contributed.

My favourite has to be the DS resources pack so far, because I prefer pixel over painted. Also, the small sprites are so small and cute (which is the opposite of hat I think about the RTP VXAce sprites).

I like the music packs the most since they're so universal and can be lovely on their own even without a game involved. I've recently bought the Adventurer's Journey Pack 2 and it's very well made. Very nice pieces in there =)

It's too hard to pick a single favorite. I love the DS/DS+ set and Celianna's Rural Farm Tileset. Both because it's a different style from the RTP and has variety when it comes to the tiles.

Unlike most people my favorite resource pack was the RTP because almost every single thing has something to do with it but the DS is so awesome just wish there was a lot more DS style graphics!!

I love the Rural Farm park due to the new possibilities it gives me in terms of game creation.  Plus I love Harvest Moon.

I do love the modern day tiles so. IMO there are not a lot of modern day RPGs out there, and these tiles help out with remedying that problem.

DS + Resource Pack

Why? 

High Quality\Huge Variety\Overall Potential of the materials

Quite frankly, it's one of the best things around, seriously...I remember that I was so happy when I won it, in one of the previous events here. There are a lot of awesome facesets and busts (with emotions!) in the pack and even a freakin awesome robot! Plus (yeah plus...ahahah) as Sharm said the sprites are really really cute. 

The tilesets are varied, so besides creating different games with different settings, you can even attempt to create an unique time-travel game with different settings (you have sengoku, modern, sci-fi and that awesome ship too), I'm surprised that nobody has ever attempted to create something like this, maybe I should give it a try soon.

You can even create a SMT styled game, since you have all the materials to create a school and the sprites\facests\portraits of the students! And all those battlers and in different styles too! You can use the cute Chibi ones for a comedy rpg and the High Res ones for a more serious rpg game! Also the battlebacks, the scripts, the sample project, the music themes (Advancing sea is my favourite) and the video tutorials with Archeia's voice (I love her voice)...ahahahah

And can we talk about that really awesome character generator?

The generator is the best thing ever, there are a lot of useful body parts in it so you have a lot of options to create different characters in DS style.

Seriously...this pack has:

ninjas, students, robots, demons...and all the other sort of creatures\things...

There are really a lot of possibilities with the DS+ Resource Pack, the overall potential of it is too amazing for words.

To me this is the best pack ever until now.

I was surprised when I found the faceset used by Liberty\Ksi in the pack (the green haired cat-girl)...that was totally unexpected!

To be honest I still have troubles with that character, I can't associate her to someone else because I always see Liberty in her...ahahahah
