Was just gifted the Modern Day Pack from a friend of mine.  Sweet deals indeed!  Too bad VX isn't a part of that! lol

So, it says that I have to own a steam copy of RPG Maker VX Ace before buying any of the resource packs. However, I purchased Ace through the store on RPGMakerweb.com. I should still have my receipt somewhere as well as the activation code that came with the disk. Is there any way I can purchase resource packs on Steam without having bought a copy through their store?

Contact the staff here (see this post) and they can hook you up with a key.

You can purchase DLC packs as a gift to take advantage of the flash sale. Select the "Purchase as Gift" option at checkout, and check the box for it to be in your Steam inventory. You can activate it on your account later after your Steam account has Rpg Maker VX Ace.

I did that last month.  Never got a reply.

Good thinking on the gift idea: Grabbing my packs now in the hope that whatever happened to my e-mail it was a fluke.

EDIT: Blast it, I went and bought the pack but it turns out they're out of Steam keys to give as of the 15th of this month.   Disappointing.  Well -- maybe they'll generate/ask for new ones for the autumn sale...

I was able to get the last couple of the High Fantasy series (Main Party 1 & Mythos Horror) with the 75% off last night, and then my internet connection died shortly thereafter. :(    I had to wait until today after work to check out my new content.  :)

Aye, indeed they do.  Thankfully so, too, because the Inspirational pack is a hard sell for me at its original price.  I could definitely afford to spend $12~ on it though.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
