This is my first game made with RPG Maker MV, as well as any RPG Maker. The Trip is pretty short, and can be beaten around 10-20 minutes if the player knows what to do. The game is mainly for the story and doesn't contain that much gameplay and/or combat, but there are choices that can be made in the game that can affect the gameplay slightly. The Trip is about two high school siblings who want to be popular, and are invited to a party on the condition that they provide the liquor. The game is inspired by movies such as Superbad and also my high school's party scene.

I appreciate any and all constructive criticism, but please keep in mind that this is my first game and I only spent around 3-4 hours developing it. Thanks in advance!

Game made by Rohat Chari. All other assets including the engine used belong to Enterbrain.

Thanks so much for warning me! I edited the post further so it complies with forum rules! Sorry, I'm new to this site. It's my fault for not carefully reading the rules.

Thanks for checking my game out! It means a lot to me.  When you're done, it would be helpful if you provided some constructive criticism as well as I plan to make more games in the future. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy my modest game!

Alright I played your game and I have some comments on it, if you don't mid.

Improve: First of all, since this game didn't have combat at all, you should have deleted the img/enemies and svenemies at the very least to make the file a lot smaller. Secondly, focus more on the mapping; there were tiles I could randomly walk on and the maps need more work, because I couldn't tell right away where I was. Oh, and give some more freedom to the player to do some stuff!  :)

The good: I think you grasped the idea of switches, which is awesome for your first project. Your spelling was very good (pretty rare for rpg maker games). Good job on using faces and the character generator correctly. It was fun and you didn't try to make an epic fantasy story of the galaxy for your first game only to fail.

All in all you have room to improve, but you have grasped the fundamentals of switches. Good job and keep at it!

Thanks for the feedback and for playing my game, I really appreciate it! I realized I had a lot of work on the mapping and I definitely need to look up some more tutorials. I didn't realize I could delete some folders without disrupting the game, but thanks for telling me that. I'll keep it in mind. I'll definitely add more gameplay and combat the next game I make.
