The ULA didn't make much sense to me. What are the limits and rules for using stuff that's already in MZ?

My game consists of 100% assets and music that's already in MZ to begin with (because I can't make assets or music.) Assuming that I already have a license, what exactly do I have to do in order to be able to commercialize it and not get... sued or whatever it would be that would happen if I didn't take the necessary precautions?

Nothing. So long as you own the maker, you're allowed to use its assets in any and all games you make in any of the makers.

You can use the MZ assets in MV games and vice versa and so on. You can make free games, paid games, 18+ games and what have you.

You can also edit these assets to your liking.

The only thing you need to remember to do is properly attribute the appropriate credits, as listed in the help file.

How... do I do that...? Oh, also, what about the sample maps? Do they require crediting? It's basically all just sample maps with a few edits here and there....

that is completely up to you - a text file distributed together with yur game is enough, although some people program in a credit screen.
What about the sample maps? Like I said, it's all pretty much just sample maps. Do those need crediting? Also, can you be a little bit more specific on how I'd go about it if I put it into the credits? I tried to do that, but I'm not sure if it's "good enough" so to speak.

This is one of those situations where when you're in class and the teacher assigns homework. And then every kid raises their hand to ask what they "can't" do. Don't fall under the trap of creating rules/restrictions for yourself. Poke around on itch to see how other folks have credited in game to get an idea of some ways, and if not, make your own way that fits your personal aesthetic.

I had an idea. I wrote in all caps during the credits: "ALL ASSETS AND MUSIC COMES FROM RPG MAKER MZ!" Do you think that'll be enough?

No, it is not - because you never named the people.

What is so difficult on opening the help file and look at its credits???
A game developer is supposed to be able to read the help file for learning things on his/her own, not to have every single key to press spelled out for you.

The difficult part is that I'm not sure which parts I should include, and which ones I shouldn't. Should I just copy paste the entire staff credits section or what? I've never, ever done anything like this before. Am I supposed to know what to do right off the bat?

There is a specific section of MZ's EULA that tells you how to credit RPG Maker.

Please read it and tell us which words you don't understand, and then we can help you.

No, but it's expected that you're able to read the directions.

If you're having trouble doing that, then you need to tell us exactly what you don't know. Just saying "I can't figure anything out" is not helpful.

Just as a tip/bit of advice...if your game consists 100% of the default assets and almost entirely of the included sample maps, it's probably not worth releasing it commercially. It costs you money to set up accounts to sell a game, and you're not going to make any back.

I appreciate the advice... and I know about the fact that it costs money and all... so that's why I'll only publish it on Itch. It's a stupid idea overall, just like me making this game in the first place was a stupid idea.

But, anyway. I checked the EULA and the only sections I could clearly understand were important to include somewhere was... article 3, with points 1 and 2 being what I could sort of understand. Am I missing anything else important? Because, frankly, I've read through the whole EULA, and I think I've gotten the grasp of it. I'm not entirely sure though...

There's a section in the Terms of Game Distribution appendix, Article 3.

When it says document attachments, do they mean specifically that you have to add a document within the game's files stating what's said in article 3, or would it do by just putting it somewhere in the credits?

As long as it's somewhere in the game, whichever you'd prefer. Some people do in-game credits, some people include a text file, some people do both.

It tells you right there:
Clear indication within document attachments (within help files in cases without document attachments, or positioned in a visible location for users

Someplace that people can see it.

Just watched Godzilla Minus One.
As a Godzilla fan, I loved it. Acting was a little rough, and I thought the ending was cheap, but overall, great!
Could have used more plot.
Plot. I demand more fanservice!

I should do a Photoshop with "Everyone Loves Reimond" and just stick Rei in the middle where Raymond's face would be.
