The demographic has a few problems. The group is in the South. I find it odd that very few Walkers are African American. The south has a large African American population. It just doesn't appear to be realistic for a Southern setting.
how does that matter in the slightest bit

I'll just say that knowing a few people who worked on it (I can point out a few of the walkers actually as friends, I know a guy who works at a prop/makeup company for movies/tv shows in Atlanta)... Its just an extras thing. Its not something that they think about because to be honest it doesn't matter. They just slap makeup on people they have there and carry on.

Hell, several are people who work for the prop/makeup company.

You run into a slight issue when it comes to demographics. Flags may be raised if the media or a civil rights society makes a big deal about a show having an unusually high amount of African-American extras as bullet fodder.

Spoiler - Circa end of last season

Techincally, everyone is immune... since everyone is already infected. It's only after death, when the immune drive shuts down completely (or after severe injury, when immune response is weakened) that the virus takes over. It's the perfect virus, since it 'strikes' only when a persons immune system is stressed/weakened.
That is incorrect. Everyone has the virus that can turn a dead person into a walker. The infection is not the same as the walker virus. Zombie bits do not spread a "zombie virus". You get the lethal infection when you get bit. The infection can kill you. The infection does not turn a person in a walker.

Everyone has the walker virus. It only triggers when you are dead and your brain is not damaged. For example if you die from a gun shot in the chest then you will become a walker.

Read here. I was confused at first. It's easy to understand it when you read it.

No need to be rude. I'm was speaking from a realistic point of view. The south is known to have a large African American population.

No. Not incorrect. That is exactly what I said. EVERYBODY is infected and after death the virus kicks in.

Everyone is already infected with the virus... which does not kick in until a person dies. You can't be immune to the virus that causes 'zombification', since you're immune system is complete inactive upon death. As far as someone being immune to whatever that weird, seemingly unrelated and remarkably convenient "fatal transmissible virus" is... perhaps someone is immune. But it doesn't matter, because the two viruses are separate entities. If someone were immune to the "fatal" virus they'd still become a zombie regardless because it isn't the cause of the "zombie virus".

Zombification Virus - Unavoidable

"Fatal" Transmission Virus - Who the Frick knows/cares.

Sorry I misunderstood you. I feel like a fool.

What are your expressions towards Season 3? So far I am really enjoying the season.

Spoiler Alert!

I think Lori will die during birth. She hinted this in Season's 3 opener. The baby has stopped moving(kicking). If the baby is dead then it will become a walker inside of her.
A main character will die Sunday. This episode's name is Serial Killer. Who will it be?

if it follows the comics, it's hershel's non-maggie daughter.

I wouldn't be surprised if Beth is the victim. She hasn't played an important in the story. Carol also dies in the comics at the prison. Her comic counterpart lets a walker bite her. I doubt they would do the same to the TV counterpart.
