I modeled this in Blender 3D last night. It's all mine. Photographic textures included. It took me 30 minutes to model and to add textures. It took me a few minutes to finish the touch ups this morning.


This could be used for High Fantasy games.


Could anyone see my sword being used in a character bust pose as the weapon being drawn? Could it be useful?

It could only really be used in a bust pose with a character if that render of a character already existed with a space or pose that allows for a weapon to be slotted in.  I don't recall there being a character render like this in the High Fantasy packs, but I only own one or two I got in a package deal, so I can't check.  On it's own I'd say a 3D weapon render would only be useful as an item icon or part of a title screen image.

Drawing would not work, it would have to be a render.  Anything else would be a huge style clash.

@Sharm Ah you mean render. I already got a torso made last week. I'm gonna make couple of heads. I can have them rendered soon.

That is what I'd said in the first place isn't it?  *checks* Yep.  Okay, good.  Not going crazy.  I literally mean anything other than another 3D render would be a style clash.  Photos, paintings, anime, doesn't matter what.  3D is it's own medium, it doesn't blend well with other mediums.

Cool. I may in the future do some 3D Chibi's or something.
