I've never used IG Maker but I used to be an RPG Maker / GM user.  I've always wanted to see an engine for creating platform games in the style of Abe's Oddysee / Flashback / Blackthorne / etc.  I made several attempts of my own using Game Maker but never managed to pull it off.  The only independent attempt I've seen was the 1213 engine which was made in AGS, which I thought was pretty impressive in a program that's not really intended to handle that kind of interface.  The engine did have a number of minor and apparently unavoidable glitches just because AGS wasn't made for it.  In any case I was never able to find a publicly available engine for that style of platformer.  Anyway, I figured I'd drop my idea on this thread.  You IGM users would know better than I whether or not such an engine would be possible with IGM ;)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
