He had a dream. To become the president of North Korea, reunifying the peninsula and going down in history as the man who made peace.
He gave up on it when he learned that you can't be a president of North Korea.
Some years later...
He then wanted to become a game designer, but growing up in a country where cheese and banks are your only career option, he cast his silly dream aside. Instead, he just played games. Over and over. Playing alone, playing with people all over the world, his opinions on the world vastly changed.
Yes, the internet changed him. When he learned that the world is not black and white and asked teachers about it, they labeled him "naive". Unable to understand why he has to remeber how mushrooms are good for the ecosystem and why a bat excrement is called guano instead of learning about our society and problems we might face in the future, he started go AWOL during classes. The school sent letters and made phonecalls to ensure that he came back to class, because if he didn't, he'd be a failure of society. His parents, unable to understand, gave up. Life was finally in his hands at the age of 16. Having no responsibilities, he went to the neighboring country to eat sausages, drink beer and design games. Having landed his first employment in the industry, he is now living the somewhat healthy life of a junior level designer.
Fortunately, I'm not that guy. My parents are actually really supportive.
Nice to meet you all!
