Hey, just a heads up.
I'll be releasing two videos next week some time. Stay tuned.
Awesome! I just finished SRDude's tutorial series and was just looking for the next one to start :)

Hey guys, apologies. The editing and script writing for these videos isn't going as expected.

Instead, I've decided to move my work to a weekly livestream on Twitch.

In this livestream you will be able to ask me any and all questions regarding any software I'm using (Photoshop, RPG Maker, etc.) and Game Design in general. I'll use the software to illustrate how various things can be done. During downtime where there are no questions in the chat, I'll be creating various puzzles and systems, and talk indepth about design. I'll archive my weekly streams on Youtube, with possible minor edits, for those who might miss it.

Each stream will be 2 to 4 hours.
The first pilot stream will start at 6PM MST on Wednesday, January 7th, and last 2 hours.
From that stream, I'll arrange some additional details.
The stream will then be held every Saturday at 1PM MST.

As for my videos and tutorials, I'll aim to release one a month. Hopefully the extra time I'll have here will allow me to release more polished material for the channel.

The Wednesday STream is now live. Hoping for a few people to pop on. If you have any questions regarding scripts, photoshop, parallaxing, game design, game development, game software or any general questions about RPG Maker MV, or just want to see puzzles and systems be made like Furniture Placement Systems, Custom Menus, Custom Level up Systems, or anything like that, hop on and take a gander.

Hey guys,
I posted a fast, unpolished, impromptu tutorial on my channel regarding the Flowchart software I use and how it can help you better organize your game's story, the mechanics, and the levels into something easy to implement and read.
I'd love to go deeper into detail on this process as time goes on and I get the chance.

Meanwhile, I am streaming my development of my own game for everyone who is interested. During those streams I talk about my own process and hope to get inclusive with my audience. So please join me on twitch. ( www.twitch.tv/titanhex )
I also have a seldom-used Twitter ( www.twitter.com/titanhex ) that I plan on giving more love, so join me there to stay up to date on stream times and other announcements.

I am curious about something... in both the Beginner and the Intermediate playlists, there are duplicate videos? For example, why is "Conditional Branches" in both playlists? It would be handier if each playlists had no duplicates and followed the logic of "start at the beginner playlist, then go onto the intermediate playlist", no?

@Curious That makes sense.

I originally did it to handle an overlap. If someone already had a beginner's knowledge and wanted to move into the intermediate, they might benefit from lessons at the end of the Beginner's category.

However, I also need to consider someone following the playlists from A to Z. So it would make more sense to make a separate tier, such as Begintermediate or Novice or something, create a playlist, and cut out the overlap.

I'll edit the playlists to cut out the overlap. Thanks.

@Titanhex many thanks, yep, I was just a bit confused by the overlap as I am one of the people following it from A to Z :)

Great videos and I look forward to more!

You have 6 numbers for PIN and 10 numbers of input. This means, for the rest of your life, you will at least never press the other 4 numbers.

No matter how long it takes, the cliches of modern humanization still enrage me. :(

Also...

Random Person: Looks are superficial. It doesn't matter what a hero looks like.

Same Person: EVERY hero NEEDS to look like a human even if they're not supposed to be and it makes no sense for them to look human.
Happy treason day, Colonial friends <3

I am officially amused. One of the NPCs in my project is basically meant as the guy you check in with to point you where you should go next, including if you’ve been away for a bit and have forgotten.

I can conclusively say he does his job nicely. I was out of town over the weekend. I had forgotten what I was working on, so I checked what I had last done with him for a reminder. ^.^
