Hello everyone. I'm new in this RPG Maker MV world. My Dad buy me this about a week ago (steam edition). I try to build a game using this.

But I have a problem when exported as android game. its show (very noticable) a thin black or white line almost everywhere. Its strange because that line is not there when I create that game on PC. (And also during "Playtest")

So my question are,
1. Is that normal? (Thin black/white line shown in our map). if its not, whats the problem, is it because of my phone cannot render it perfectly?. (I'm using S7 Exynos+Mali version not a Snapdragon+Adreno) or it caused by unmached tileset (in size maybe) with the grid?.

2. I also noticed that the game is too small in my phone, is there any way to make the game appear more larger on the phone, by using script or plugin maybe?.
And the caracter/player move is so fast, too fast I think even in normal move.

3. How to add background music?. I mean music when th e player is walking around in the map.

Please help me...thank you.

PS: I'm sorry for my bad english. English is not my daily language, but I hope I can make my self clear. (^-^).

1) It looks like possibly your A2 graphic sheet got corrupted somehow. Does this happen on any other maps? Have you tried it on other phones to see if it is just how yours is rendering or it's consistent?

3) You can add background music in the map's properties settings.

It might be the A1-Sheet that has the problem instead of the A2 - it looks rather as if the line is on the left part of the water-tile instead of on the right parts of several other tiles.

It might also be the result of a zoom plugin or of a resize-screen-plugin, but from the other question it doesn't sound as if those are in use.

2) it depends on the screen size of your phone - can you give us the pixel numbers of its display?
If the tiles are too small that would point to a HD-display instead of a regular display on your phone.

1) You have corrupted files. Create a new project, and go to [NewProjectFolder]\img\tilesets. There you will find World_A1.png, World_A1.txt, World_A2.png, World_A2.txt, World_B.png, World_B.txt, World_C.png, and World_C.txt. Copy all of them over to [YourGame'sFolder]\img\tilesets and replace them with the current ones. This should solve the problem.

2) I don't know if it works, but you could try using Yanfly's Core Engine to resize the game. Download the .js file in the [YourGame'sFolder]\js\plugins folder, then go to the Plugin Manager and on the drop-down list click on YEP_CoreEngine.js. In the Parameters section then you should see a "Resolution" value. You can try changing that, but then again I don't know if it works on phones.

2a)[Player too fast] Maybe you have "Always Dash" enabled on the options screen in the game itself. Anyways, if you double tap, your character will go faster than usual, so that's that.

3) On the map list in your editor, right-click on the map you want to add music to, and click on "Edit". This will bring you to a screen where you can change several stuff, like the tileset used and the music used. There, you should find an "Autoplay BGM" box, check it. After that, click on the empty bar with the dots and the editor will let you choose the music you want.

I tried to be as easy to understand as possible. If needed I'll upload images. Cheers

Thank you all for the help. I learn a lot from all of you Sir.

I'm sorry for my late reply, I'm a little bussy with my school stuff, you know homework and some school project too.

1. For the thin line, in my case its not solved by change the tiles, I have try many times using different tiles from this forum the thin line is still there. And its not because of my phones (Exynos+Mali) because when I installed in my dad phones Sony XZ (Snapdragon+Adreno) the thin line is still there. But luckly one of the member help me by send me plenty of .js files, she said I have to try to replace all the .Js files exept the plugin.js. And thanks God its works!. The thin line is gone by now.
When I ask where she got all of the .Js files, she said its come from the older version 1.34. At first I'm afraid it will affect the game performance but so far so good. plus one of the best part is i dont have to edit the Rpg core.js again when I create an apk files.

2. Yup you are right Sir, after search in the web a couple days, the only way to change the resolution is using the plug in. (=need more time to learn it)

2a. Nope the Dash option is Off, Sir. And its not a double tap, But NVM because I have try to istalled that in my friend phones which have a less power (Mediatek+2Gb Ram) the speed is the same, Sir. (which I think its too fast). So I think I have to learn to accept that. (^-^)

3. I'm sorry if I not make my self clear enough, what I mean is a sound that play when a player walking around in the map. steping sound maybe?. I dont know what to call it. That sound is different depends on the region, eg: when player walk in snowy area its play sound a, but when the player walk in grass area its play sound b. (I'm sorry its a sound not a music, my mistake). But NVM i think it will be difficult to achieve that without scripting or plugin.

Hello! I ended up finding this post because I have the same problem with this black line. I made several attempts, just like the ones you did, but still the lines continue to appear. How do I get these files from the previous version?

next time, please make a new topic

Those distortions have been identified as being caused by non-grid screen sizes in the time since then.
your screen size needs to be a multile of the grid size 48x48, or the interpolation will cause those lines.
