This time, I'm having trouble with two skills. I want one to trigger whenever two specific characters are in the party and one of them dies.

Please be more specific with "not working." Are you saying nothing happens when you use the skill? That seems impossible from your database setup. Are you saying the logic in the common event resolves differently than you expect it to?

You posted two pictures of Hopeful Kiss from your database, not the common event it calls.

Ah, see, they're two different skills. The kisses, I mean. One is meant to be used by one character and the other is meant to be used by another character. I can't exactly explain it that well, to be honest... does this help? The skills don't show up at all, actually. I decided to change the name of one of them to make it make more sense.Screenshot (40).png

As for the Rampage one... I really have no idea why it won't work, because every time Lucy dies while Ariana is in the party, nothing happens at all. It just... goes on like usual. I probably explained it badly, though... what I really want is for it to act as a passive ability. I couldn't get it to do that though...

The skills don't show up at all, actually.
So where do you give them to the characters? Skills don't just appear unless the character is given them someplace. You might:
- Assign the skill to be learned at a certain level by their class
- Put it on another database object via the Add Skill Trait
- Give it during an event with the Change Skill event command

Nothing should happen - you have it as a common event attached to a skill. That will only be run when the skill is used.

By default in RPG Maker there is no such thing.

You could make a troop event with a trigger of Actor HP <= 0, then do a Conditional Branch -> Tab 2 -> Actor has Skill, then do the stuff.

Then you'd need to have that troop event in every troop, either by copy and pasting or using a Base Troop Events plugin.

so I had two plugin that essentially overwrite each other depending on where they are in the list. so I had to edit what was overwriting one into the other and now they both work. I REALLY need to sit down and just learn JavaScript. I hate that I know just enough to know I don't know NEARLY enough lol.
The Open Hand scandal got even more spicy. The Completionist streamer Jirard made a video response and tossed a bunch of links and documents, but apparently none of it actually addressed why donations he collected sat for 10 years (way too long to justify). He also seemed to threaten defamation suits vs. people for what amounts to pointing out publicly available records. The IRS should definitely audit.
