This is an interesting thing I thought about, what was happening this time last year (For you)
How different was your life to what it is now?
And if someone told you that a Mobile-Exprting RPG Maker would be released, would you believe them?

For me, last year I was... an idiot. I had just got into RPG Maker and was the kind of typical newbie you see every now and then.

I certainly didn't think i'd be saving money for the king of all RPG Maker's (MV).

A lot has happened over the last year, i'm a different person in both the real and digital worlds.

How about you? What has changed for you?

Last year at this time I had sympathy pregnancy, worrying about the health of soon to come twins and their mother and wondering how my sanity could survive two new progeny, fleeing into books, guns, horses and rpgmakerweb (likely to the chagrin of a couple of members at least) to try to stifle the useless worries and fears that come when a man who had a vasectomy two years earlier proves himself still fertile.

This year I just might be insane, I've barely ridden a horse, I've sold all my guns save one, rpgmaking when it comes is a rushed endeavor before a storm of other commitments tears me away and I now read in a month what I used to read in a few days. Wouldn't change the way things went in hindsight if I could (though I would have skipped the worthless 700$ vasectomy) but I do hope that I can find a way to get the two on the same sleep schedule at least.

Last year I haven't using RPG Maker.

This year I'm using RPG Maker.

That's one of the changes.

Last year at this time I was writing my first RGSS3 script. The first version of the farm system I currently use on my game.

Last year I annoy people and was not working on a game.

This year I also annoy people, but I am working on a game.

I hope this is not too off-topic, but it was the first thing I could think of. :)

Maybe you enjoy.

Hmm.  It was almost exactly this time last year that I started having the problems that caused so many hospital visits and a surgery.  At the time I was burned out from making Pixel Myth and was working on a Halloween pack that's coming out for the rest of the forum any day now (just came out on M+).  It's been a rough year.  Other than the loss of a large non-cancerous growth (yay!), not much is different.  Got a new sister-in-law.

Last year this time, I worked a lot, and I came on here. I fell into a deep depression while going through countless obstacles regarding my son and a fierce court battle. I also was fighting a television show to get my story off of their channel.

This year, I am done with court and focusing on work and my other son, Toby. I came out of my depression and became a new woman, and I couldn't be more proud of the strides I have made as a human and the things I have overcome since this time last year. I have a new game I am working on every second and I am very proud of it.

This time last year I was not a commercial dev yet. Been finishing off my first commercial title (Atonement) and getting feedback.

And now I'm doing the same except for my third commercial title (City of Chains). It's been a wonderful year really. I've finally found my career path in life and I am very thankful for it.

It's interesting that you've been through your first year as a commercial dev. Are you happy with it? Would you say it met your expectations?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
