Thomas' VX/Ace Resources
Hey! I'm going to start posting any VX/VX Ace resources I make here. This is a work in progress so far and will be updated often. I am only starting to make resources, so please, no criticism.
All resources except for the charsets were made in GIMP. The battler edits were combined in GIMP as well.
To get these resources, open a spoiler, then right click on an image and click "save as."
Okay, let's get right into it!
Here is a new title screen, made in Krita. It looks much better in my opinion. This one is 640x480, not 544x416.
Currently available:
The black outlines will not show up on the database icon preview, but in the game, they look fine.
This icon set will be small, and it will be completed soon. What I am planning to add (the first items have highest priority):

If the fact that the black outlines do not show up on database previews bothers you, click "tools" at the top of the engine and then click "options", from there you can change the transparency to 255 for all values.

Already Done:
- Started with four characters.
- Added three title screens.
- Changed one of the title screens.
- Added lots of new characters.
- Added an icon set.
- Started with states
- Added some equipment
- Put in element icons
- Added potion and herb
- Put in more equipment
- Added a gemstone and some skills
- Made lots of potion colors
- Added the skill "Flame Sword"
- Made some completely original battlers.
- They looked too blurry, so made some new ones while still keeping the old available
- Added some more original battlers (a guard or soldier and a ghost)
- Made a game over screen
- Added another original battler and a modern title screen.
- Added two more title screens.
- Added an alien face and bust.
- Added a lava battleback.
- More icons. See the icon set spoiler for details.
- More VX battler combinations.
- Will add more original battlers often.
- Planning a horror title screen.
- New characters will be added, as well as facesets (maybe) but this is low priority.
- Maybe make more game overs.

- Skill: Whirling Strike (Deals large damage. Requires two handed weapon.)
- Skill: Poison Arrow (Deals poison damage and causes poison. Requires bow.)
- Skill: Ember Sword (Deals high fire damage. Requires sword.)

- Maybe I will redraw some of the icons to make them better, but this is unlikely.
