So, before today, when we post a new comment on a thread it automatically shows the new comment that we just posted. Now for some reason, it doesn't do that and I need to hit refresh for it to show. Is it some kind of problem or change with the forum or is it just something with my browser? using Chrome btw...

I thought I'd made replies last night (in Chrome) and they posted and were visible straight away.

Edit - yep, working in IE.  Will try Chrome again when I get home this afternoon.

I just experienced it moments before this thread, so it's kinda new...

EDIT: it seems to work fine on me now...

Being doing maintenance all day that doesn't' require the forums being offline. You're going to see some weird little things off and on.. so..sorry!

That explains all the odd formatting things I've been noticing. Thanks for all your hard work on this Nathanial!

there was one case where the tags got scrambled again, forcing the topic display to be broken.

Because it was outside my mod area, I PM'd the user explaining how to correct the tag order. It's fixed now

The error was similiar to the ones reported several month ago, appearently the forum's programming company hasn't been able to patch that yet.

The links to the next page look a little different (not broken though) and there was one case where someone's post changed font and size and went into the area where her profile info was. I can't find where that happened though so it probably got fixed a while ago.

I must be not seeing it with the links, but I'm going to just assume that it isn't a big deal? The other problem just sounds like a loading hiccup.

None of what I was doing should have really temporarily caused any of what either of you said.

Not a load error, everyone in the thread could see it and the poster it happened to edited her post to comment about how odd it was. I think the link thing may have been a load error though.

Misread what you  said. I thought you were saying it was something with the font on a profile. Still not sure. If you can't duplicate it, then I can't even look into it. Still, I wasn't doing anything that would cause that though.

it was the one where I PM'ed the poster on how to correct the error, a mixup between spoiler and quote tags - most probably opened the spoiler inside a quote but closed it outside (after the quote was closed), resulting in the next part of the text being displayed under the "user info" on the left side instead of inside the text area.
As said, it was fixed after I told the user how to check on the tags.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
