So I have an overworld and there's enemies for you to kill and loot and all that jazz.

But that weight thing... to make enemies appear more or less frequent... i don't get it. it seems like it doesn't so what i expect it to do. i expect it to make certain troops appear more frequently than other troops with lower ratings, and less freqently than those with higher ratings. like, a 9 appears more than a 5, and a 5 appears more than a 1. (or perhaps the other way around, either way)...

but regardless of number, it seems to have no effect at all on my troops.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Its a percentage basically so if you have one troop a 9, one troop a 5 and one troop a 6 the values would be:

9/20 =0.45 *100 = 45%

5/20 = 0.25 *100 = 25%

6/20 = 0.3 * 100 = 30%

As you can see there is little difference between 5 and 6. I usually like to assign the value out of 100 total for the troops on the map with the 100 representing 100% that way the assigned values for the troops represent the actual percentage.

If that tutorial doesn't answer your questions, please post a screenshot of your settings.

If for example you mixed up conditions or region settings with the weights, that can throw off all expectations but then we need to see your numbers and settings to really help you.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
