I'm having an issue with the program itself. When I scroll down through my tilesets with the scroll bar, the picker area doesn't change until I either mouse over them or click on a tile.

I'm not sure if it's a local issue or something, like maybe another program I have installed, but I uninstalled everything I installed just before the issue started (it was just games, no big deal) and that hasn't solved the problem.

Here's some screenshots:

This is before I scroll

This is after I scroll. I moved the mouse around to illustrate the problem I'm having

I don't understand the problem. Can you please explain it again? You may need to make a small video.

Are you using the standalone version or the Steam version? What version is the editor (you can find that out in the menus)? If not Steam, where did you purchase and when is the last time you updated?

Your description isn't very good, and we have to guess what you're talking about even with the screenshots.

If it is about display updates on the tile selection causing some of them to be wrong before howering over that area - that is an issue with your display driver, not with the editor (or a lot of people would have reported it here), and I know such an effect if for example an old DOS game uses surface drawing instead of the directX-functions (ignore that if you don't know those names, they are technical terms).

I suggest updating your display driver first and see if that solves the problem.

A similiar effect also happens ingame (NOT in the editor to my knowledge) if you're using incomplete tilesheets (as in the tilesheet is smaller than the required 768x768 pixel for upper layer sheets), so please check that and increase the canvas size of the tilesheet picture if it is smaller.

I think the size @Andar has given is for MV. For Ace it's 512 x 512.

ups - yes, I didn't realise this is for Ace, Kes is correct in the size for Ace - but Ace never had that particular problem anyway.
So it's almost guaranteed to be something with your display driver, either that alone or in conjunction with another program.

By the way - I remember Steam-Ace having problems with an automatically launching video-record-program. That program was installed on the computers of several users as part of a graphics/display suite, and it assumed that all programs launched by Steam are games that the user would want to record for let's plays. So even if Steam-Ace was launched, it began recording the display viewport, causing problems and lag.
You might want to check for that as well.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
