    Hi Rhino, it's possible you are using the latest Tiled Editor which did some things a lot differently. I'm trying to finish the manual by the end of next week (I had been busy all month lately). If you are stuck feel free to PM me and I'll try to guide you out!

    @Archeia Thank you for the kind offer!! :cutesmile: As it turns out, I might not be the mapper for my current project (I'm going to try and write a recruitment thread so you might be moderating that soon. :guffaw:) But from what I saw Tiled is pretty interesting and flexible, so I'll definitely keep a link to this for future reference.

    Hi. Thank you for making tiled plugin, I really like tiled. New to rpgmaker. How do I make it work with rpgmaker ship/boat? Is it possible to use tiled maps but have rpgmaker still let ships boats work appropriately since those expect specific passability flags and tiled to be used? Thank you!

    Since Tiled plugin doesn't work the same way as RPG Maker editor what you want to do is set regions (that you can also set in Tiled) that stops the ships.

    So are the instructions in the ZIP (which has a broken link) the same ones as the 1.2 version? Otherwise I think that link might need to be fixed. If so then I'll just copy said instructions, and be on my way :3

    After spending a few hours to learn TileD and how this plugin works, I just want to say oh my god thank you. Being able to use tilesheets of any size and have animations play without creating character sheets is invaluable when working on a game with hundreds of unique tiles and hundreds of static animation frames. I just had a few very quick questions.


    You linked a few posts above version 1.20 of your script, but the main download you have for your plugin still has the 1.10 version. We should be using v1.20 right?

    Events seem to work perfectly fine without having to make eventid's with an object layer in TileD. Is that no longer needed or am I misunderstanding something?

    The plugin has the Priority Tiles Limit parameter with a note that the limit shouldn't be too high. If we don't use priorities at all, will setting this to 0 have any impact on system resource usage? (even if it's something like a 1ms long cpu calculation) Or would it being 0 instead of an integer > 0 causes issues with other parts of the script?

    Yes. 1.3.0 just means RPG Maker MV Version 1.3.0+++ The other download link is for RPG Maker MV 1.2.0 users. Right now we're at RPG Maker MV 1.5.1.

    You can use both. You can either set them via RPG Maker OR set them via Tiled. It doesn't really matter.

    It could impact performance, but you can raise it if you're confident your game will run smoothly.

    However, I think you misunderstood me here though, or maybe I misunderstood your answer. When I was talking about v1.20, I didn't mean RPGMaker 1.2.0, I meant YED_Tiled v1.20. I put a bunch of stuff below to clear any confusion.


    You have two verisions of YED_Tiled for RPGMaker 1.3.1+++.

    @Eurobuzz that is because I have not updated the main page yet with the new version and help file. Version 1.20 has a lot of new things added to it.

    I have a question on the over and under bridge demonstration. Can you do that with vanilla MV or using that plugin only?

    In vanilla MV you have to use the plugin from Ojima called Overpass and use regions.
