Tileset Convertion

Hello there,

i followed this video:

At the end i saw some 2k 3k Chars and Chipset included in the MV.

The Charsets were no problem to include.

But how can i get the Chipsets from the Rpg Maker 2000 into the MV?

The answer is to rework them with an image program like GIMP or Photoshop.

There is no simple conversion or conversion program, you'll need to do it the hard way - manually.

I know this answer already, but the problem is i dont know how to convert an Chipset to an tileset.

Is there any infos about how big the tiles should be.

I need some technical infos to do this manually.

The tileset info for MV is in the help file, a copy of the info is also in a pinned topic on MV resources in this forum somewhere.

I don't know where to get similiar info on the chipsets if that is not in RM2K3's helpfile, but for most cases you only need the target info anyway because you already have the pictures in the source format for conversion.
