But that's my point, you don't have to ask. If someone posts their resources in the Resource Showcase, they are giving permission for anyone viewing them to use them. We don't allow people to post their resources in this section without the intent of allowing others to use them. So, if you see them here in one of the showcase sections, you have permission to use them, as long as you abide by the terms. You don't need to ask individual permission for every resource you want to use.
The only times you should need direct permission from the creator is if they have something in their terms specifying it. For example, sometimes the creator will allow commercial use only if you notify or ask them. But generally, you don't need to ask at all.
Despite time and all the other things I am working on, I decided that I am going to start a Fire Emblem-like project. Follow your dreams! I'll just have to balance hours efficiently. I'm also not making this as complex as my Might and Magic inspired project, so it will be a much easier project to work on.
So I've taken to doing a test of the game, and making a list of everything I think of during the test to add/fix. Over the course of the night I check them off as I do them, and by the end of the night I always feel like I've accomplished something.
