ok so i am making my own custom tilesets and maps in photoshop and importing them into the tilesets folder as pngs. I am doing ok importing them into the program but having issues laying out the map after importing. the tiles do some sort of "smart mapping" and making everything look like a jumbled mess. is there anyway i can individually take one of the 48x48 tiles and just use that with out it getting jumbled?

There are different types of tile sheets which have their own formats. Sheets A1-A4 are all autotiles. I'm guessing you are putting your tilesheets there. A5 is for certain ground tiles. Sheets B-E are the other stuff and go on top of the A tiles.

The help guide in MV explains the formats of all these tiles. It sounds like you need to put your tiles in a B-E slot. But, it does need to be the proper size which I think is 768x768. But I would double check that.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
