Tilesets Appearing at Random?

I am very close to giving up.


take a look:


How did it happen?


It's random


go in to another map, and exit and this appears.


when restarting the game it isn't there.


It seems it only appears when the game first loads after the update.


That's it really. I don't know what else to say.


From a company standpoint I had only wished things were better over the months. But it seems that isn't the case...

You could start with stating what the problem actually is. Don't assume that we know what you know just by looking at an image.  We don't know what the map is meant to look like, so we don't know what's wrong with it.


What update?


Do you have any plugins?  If you disable them all and save, does the problem still happen?

without knowing more, have you updated your opengl drivers lately? the only reason I ask, has to do with what someone told me about screensavers, that essentially the screen will eat itself and show things behind so to say, so to avoid that we use screensavers.


and ya, the other question is what tile related plugins are you using.

The one's that are showing are only regional tiles.


so probably the only excuse is the yanfly region lock?


tiles/regions that involve using passing and non passing stuffs?


EDIT:


-Update as in after 1.3.1 or 1.3 in general this started to happen. Update MV 1.3.1


- Map is an image parallax, these tiles are not meant to be there.  We only use regions to make sure players can walk around.


- I do not know what this opengl Driver is, in any case, my coders are getting the same issue on their side, and they told me everything abouti the game is up to date. Is this a PC problem?


- We are using the preloader manager as audio still gets delayed. Maybe 1.4 might fix this as it will come next year probably.


-  the only issue with this is the overlays and parallaxes plugin probably.

are you also on RPG Maker 1.3.1?


EDIT: as 1.3.0 had issues with tilesets.


If you dont know how to do this, load MV go to Help (top right) and About.

then please describe what exactly is wrong with the map in your picture, or give an editor screenshot of how it's supposed to look.

Uh....


the maps not supposed to have all the yellow default MV tiles.


It's just supposed to be an image.


a map without the yellow tiles


a parallax map without default MV tiles showing up.


that's it.


I do not know what is wrong with it, nor am I  aware on how it appears. But I have clearly described how it happened.


1. these yellow tiles appear when exiting a map


2. it appears at random


NEW:


oh and it turns out when I run the game on canvas mode it doesn't appear anymore


seems the new WebGL effed it up.


oh well.


thoughts?

Well, there you go.  If I had been forced to make a guess, I would have said whatever that image is at the top should not be there.  Turns out (if I understand you correctly) that that's the only bit that SHOULD be appearing.  See why you need to explain things and not just assume we can all see what you see and draw the same conclusions?


Are those tiles from a different map?  Could it be that the tilemap is just not clearing at the right time?  


Disable ALL of your plugins, save your game, see if the problem still happens.  If it doesn't, it's a plugin.  If it does, it's the engine.  Are you just play testing or have you deployed to some device/platform?
