why should the tilesets become unreadable?
That sounds like you're doing something wrong with your project.
either the filepath to your tilesets doesn't follow networking rules and causes load-errors, or you have cloudsync'ed your project, causing file access failures or something like that.
but the tilesets can't become unreadable under normal circumstances.
Hmm i think it may have something to do with cloud sync now i think about it it's usually when i save or test. the file path is fine it's in data tilesets.js how do i turn off cloud sync?
I think you misunderstood what cloudsync is as it has nothing to do with you manually saving anything.
a cloudsync is a fully automated backup to an internet-clouddrive (for example dropbox or onedrive) and it can only happen if your project is stored inside a cloudsync'ed folder (which is a bad idea).
If this only happens while you save, then something is wrong with either your filepath or your harddrive.
So I suggest you give us the full path of your project, beginning with the drive letter and going to the index.html of the project. Then we can check that path for the known clouddrives as well as for other problems with it.
Every %-coded letter - like %20 as a code for the space - stands for a letter that is forbidden under networking rules. They are displayed that way exactly because the browser can't handle them, not even in error messages or adresses.
And that %-override is not always working correctly.
Please rename the folders so that there are no spaces in any foldername - you can either remove them or replace them with an allowed letter (like _ which is the reason why you find it in a lot of filenames from the internet).
That_time_i_got_sucked_into_a_computer_game? like this ?
I've also checked my tilesets to ensure they are in the same mana.
Found one image with the space. So i corrected that so hopefully this is fixed ? time will tell Thank you Andar.
Ok so far only 2 crashes and there normal and that was after many hours of work and this time NO BROKEN TILESETS in database. SO result ! thank you Andar.
even two crashes are not normal, there has to be something that causes them.
Unfortunately it is difficult to diagnose an error that rarely happens, and this might be something involving other programs as any crash with a single cause inside the editor would happen more often...
Normal to me since I've had RPG maker and yes i've reformatted my pc and even bought a new one in that time. Same thing. none the less i'm happy as my data no longer currupts.
After you reformatted your computer and installed Windows again, did you install the chipset drivers for your mainboard?
A lot of people forget this because the mainboard drivers are usually not listed as missing in the device manager. But that is only because Windows itself installs some general placeholder drivers here - and those are never as stable as dedicated drivers specifically designed for your mainboard.
Yes don't worry i build my own pc's all is well. if i get any more issue's i'll get in touch and we can try and diagnose it. Thanks for your support Ander.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!
Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
