Hi everyone! Hope someone can help me to solve this.

I designed some abilities that I want to be used on maps and when they are activated they have to show something (a plugin command) for a limited amount of time.

Here is one of my attempt to make this work... but its not working... the event starts, the lights go on, the timer starts... but it freeze immediately.

(i'm sorry for the foreign language in the images below. If the process isnt clear because of that I will edit the post with new images)

nope. Well, I tried to put the Timer Control on map, as parallel event activated by the switch 0003 Tracce. But it didnt work either.

Anyway I would like to keep all in the Common Events if possible.

Edit: ok, sorry, understood now what u meant. I had an Autorun on map. Now I disabled it... same results, the timer starts, but it freeze at 4 second (so.. it let pass 1 sec) and the lights stay on... this thing is bugging me!!!

Here the solution for me... hope its a right solution. Just last question: so, if I have Autorun events in the map... the Control Timer will not work?

You need to turn off the switch so it doesn't loop continuously.

So on an autorun, you should have a self switch page to shut it off like Dalamar said.  Autoruns stop all action and continually run on the map you have them located until switched off. Gosh if I told you how many times I made that mistake.. :)   Glad you figured it out!

No, he needs to turn off the switch in his light off event, otherwise it will run 60 times a second which will cause lag after a player uses this skill for the first time.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
