What are time saving measures you guys use?

    Mine:
-Write character dialogue in Word Processor first
-Autostart events on top left corner of the map

    1. I often write scripts to add things into the game instead of eventing super complicated stuff.
    2. I also use a crap-ton of Common Events (open chest, open door, nothing here, push object, sound effects, animations, save point etc).
    3. I never detail my maps until I'm fairly confident that I'm not going to change them anymore.
    4. I always have an Init event on every page that runs an Init common event along with any other things that are specific to setting up that particular map.
    5. If my game doesn't have a lot of different playable characters, I like to ensure that I make events for them on every map with the same exact Event ID (usually ID 2-however many characters I have). This way I can use common events in my cutscenes and it'll always reference the correct character event.
