INFO:

This is my first and only game. Well I started to program a text-based game in windows a year ago, but then I took that story and made this game.

Expect Timetravel, open worlds, many worlds, dimensions, puzzles (both easy and advanced), politics and a story very much related to our world today...

STATUS:

It has be transformed from VX Ace and alternate ways of playing the game is made. Also more worlds (at different times) are made.

PLATFORM:

PC

PLOT:

The new government uses tax money to support the non working man.

The industry should shut down for a clean environment.
No energy production is needed. 100% unemployment is their goal.
With no factories and no workers, there would be no emission at all.
The world shall be a place of enslaved humans under total control by the society.

You must decide what to do...
The decisions you make will affect how the War begins and who will benefit from it.

Will you go back to change what have happened?

You change things in the Pre War time.. ..they will affect the future....

Will you be able to stop the War.. ..or do war never change?

CHARACTER:

You are just a normal guy waking up from a dream. Depending on your choices you can become anything.

Will you join the new government or work againgst them? What you choose will result in new classes and new skills and equipment.

GAMPLAY:

Well, appart from traditional RPG-maker gameplay there will be side-scrolling adventures and sports. (Skiing for example as can be seen in the trailer) and much more.

There will be a lot of time travel. There is a time machine.. it takes 1-2 hours before you can use ut though. Then you can explore not only 1 massive open world, but 3... 4? 10?

There are 3 worlds now and there will be more. Appart from exploreing "the earth" you will be able to explore at least one other planet... And YES the time machine works there too.

There will be Overworlds, Underworlds and Skyworlds... and more! There is crafting and a lot of ways to do things. You can play the game 2-3 times and almost have a completely different game each time. You can/must uppgrade your ship (as can be seen in the trailer) and also build som weapons and tools.

INSPIRATION:

Think: Zelda a lik to the past, Final Fantasy 1-6... especially 4 and 6. Think many worlds and dimensions. Ligt/Dark world.

When you think you are near the end... No, that was just the first part. Here is 1 world more... and 1 more.. That is what this game is about.

Thank you for your feedback. I have been working about 150 hours in RPG maker (both VX Ace and MV) and I find something new I can do every day.

I am quite familiar with "all the event buttons" and how to make pretty advanced events. I am thinking about releasing this game and then starting to make a game.

As one can expect, the game gets more advanced as the game goes on as I am figuring  out new way do create events and what they do.

That is why it should be a good idea to make a new game now. I have recently began to figure out how to make my own tiles and backgrounds look good.

The problem with releasing my game is I don't know how or where.

Watched the trailer and it looks really good. You've got a lot of clever puzzles in there, but no battles? So is it mostly a puzzle game? I'm fine either way, and I'm definitely interested in your vast, explorable world.

There are no battles at the moment. I am just creating the worlds and the puzzles.I don't like the "included" battlers and will probably make my own.

Now you can run around and figure out where to go and probably finish the game (as long as it is now) in 1-2 hour. With battles and some weapon and armor system, it would take like 5-10 hours. Just running around back and forth in the lava dungeon (with the arrows) would trigger them A LOT OF TIMES if random encounter. Perhaps it would start to get annoying. Perhaps stationary enemies that do not return as long as you stay on that map is better?

Apart from these random (or not random) encounters, there will also be fun things like after crafting an axe you can cut down trees and get to new places.

I was thinking that cutting down a tree would be a battle. It would throw leaves at you and stuff.

Then some angry people would get there and try to stop you from hurting the environment. That could be fun!

Thank you for yout feedback!

Don't just include battles in your game for the sake for making it an RPG. If you feel like the puzzles are strong enough on their own, by all means, keep the battles out! A longer game isn't necessarily a better game, especially if it's packed with "filler" battles that just interrupt what's fun like your puzzles.

You have a point there. "Random encounters" would be just to fill out the time and make the game longer. However, battles would add a lot to the game and it would be pretty amazing (in my opinion) to get to use the "rope" and the "shovel" and for example an "axe" (that you use to cut down trees) for more than the just the puzzles.

As i said before. Adding battles to "cutting down a tree" or a battle when "arguing over prices" at a shop would be pretty fun. Then you would get more use for your items without getting annoying battles just for the sake of it.

My puzzles are pretty hard (some of the least) and you will have to run around A LOT to figure them out. Random encounters there would definitely ruin the fun.

Well thank you for your input!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
