Timed Attack: Mash
by SumRndmDde
Version 1.00
What This Plugin Does:
Adds a new Timed Attack system that requires the Player to mash a button to get a gauge to a certain point.
Basic Setup:
This Plugin requires the Timed Attack Core.
Have both the Timed Attack Core installed and the Timed Attack: Clock installed underneath it.
Next, use the following Notetags inside the Skill you wish to use the "Timed Attack System":
Code:
<Timed Attack: mash>
<End Timed Attack>
Advanced Setup:
Once you can set up all of the basic stuff and have it working, you can start to use "attributes".
You can assign attributes to a Skill's Timed Attack by placing things in between the two Notetags:
Code:
<Timed Attack: mash>
Start Amount: 500
<End Timed Attack>
All of the available attributes are listed in the Parameters and in the "Help" section of the Plugin.
Furthermore, you can set up all the default values for every "Timed Attack" in the Parameters.
Using "attributes", one can make it so Skills are all slightly different from one or another.
Smooth Mode:
Code:
<Timed Attack: clock>
Smooth Mode: false
Tap Gain: 100
<End Timed Attack>
While it's not super significant, this changes the visual and mechanical aspects of the Timed Attack slightly.
If it's set to 'true', that means the animation will be smoother.
However, this also means that the "Tap Gain" needs to be lower since it is a speed instead of a constant gain.
A good amount is around 15.
On the other hand, setting Smooth Mode to 'false' will have the gains become a constant.
Because of this, the "Tap Gain" needs to be higher in order to compete with the lowering value.
A good amount is around 100.
