Tiny Text with YEP_LoadCustomFonts?

Plugin: YEP_LoadCustomFonts
So im trying to get a custom font to work and its... really tiny

does anyone know how to fix it? ty!

Do you have installed YEP_MessageCore plugin?
if yes then check font size in plugin parameters and try change size (18 ~ 24)
if this is not working, then try in "Show Text..." event to use /fs[size]Your text
to see if font size is different.

yep, i have the message plugin installed, font size is set to 28


and changing it in the actual message didnt work either

Did you also try using notetag?

update: i did a test with the RTP font and its still tiny????? im so confused now


EDIT: I tried disabling all my plugins and its still happening

why is all your plugin off? do you use any smaller font in your text like \{ ?

@ShadowDragon i turned them all off to see if it changed anything
and no i dont use any smaller font, it started doing this the first time i wrote a show text command

does it happen in a clean project? if it does not, copy the core plugins of the clean
project to your main, rpg_core, rpg_scenes etc except the plugins + folder of it.

if it also happen on a clean project, than your rpg software might be corrupt.
which you can repair and a re-installation.

mostly the first option works mostly. 2nd is alternative. (make sure to backup your
game before doing this).

Ok! that seemed to fix the default text option



but unfortunately the custom font still doesnt seem to work?

your YEP arent in the correct order,
Turn OFF, community basics and made by MV,

re-order YEP plugins correctly (provided on his website.
YEP_EngineCore,
YEP_Message Core,
YEP_LoadCustomFont are the 1st 3 if remember correctly.

if you have it in the wrong order, it happen that it doesn't function how it should.
re-order the plugin and it should work correctly, if not, it might lies somewhere else.

that would be strange because it the plugin works correctly on my side.

what version of MV do you use? (you can check the version of rpg_core on the first 3 lines).
if it's has none, its version 1.0.0, if it's 1.5.x+ than I got no clue why it's acting like that.


EDIT: can you try a different font and see how it does?
you can also test the font in word, default text -> font size 30, than change the font
to the one you use, do it become smaller or the same?

rpgm version: 1.6.2
different font: trying a different font does work, however, im still not sure what the problem is since the font i was using resizes fine in both CSP (like photoshop but more illustrator oriented) and Scrivener (Word processor for large projects)



i suppose i might just have to find a different font to use? its strange though....

can you link the font you use that makes it small so I can test it on my side?
if it's the font, that cause it, that you need a different font. but I want to make sure
if it's the cause or not.

EDIT: ive also encountered more problems with other fonts i had downloaded including
- letters being partially layered on top of eachother
- fonts showing up the right size, but in a plain font instead of the actual font

I got small letters too somehow, but I was able to fix it, I tried - (in spaces) and _ for test purpose.
smae thing happen, small letters, the way I fix it is easy though.

Rename the font from Earth 2073.ttf to Earth2073.ttf (or simply Earth.ttf
fontfamily Earth2073 or if you rename it to Earth only,

from there, the font is working fine, it just the space that blocks it.
you can also do Earth-2073.ttf if you rename the font to Earth-2073.

it seems it doesn't allow spaces in font names.
