Okay, I have the coupon. (Humble Bundle) But I have no idea where it is how to use it (has anyone used it) or what I get from it. Bleh.

School's back in session, so I have a wee bit of cash. (Emphasis on "wee bit.")

Pro's - I can use 200x RTP in whatever game I want yippee.

        - I can use the 16 bit stuff to make 48 bit tiles if I am such a person who might do such a thing. (Geez don't I have enuf projects going on?)

        - I can feel like a hard core true RPG Maker believer.

        - I will never open the software. This is verifiable fact. I don't know why it is a pro. It is just true.

Con's - I will feel guilty pre-ordering MV if I just bought two other things I will never probably use at all.

         - Because I feel guilty pre-ordering MV I will not pre-order MV.

         - I will hate it when everyone else has MV and buy it even though it is not yet on sale, even though I haven't finished my Ace game yet.

         - Because I never pre-ordered MV I will never get some obscure, imaginary set of wondrous fair resources everyone will get for pre-ordering MV.

What to do????? What to do?????

@Nathanial, do not say anything. =P

I would say to wait for MV. But it may be awhile for it to come to HB. D: I am no help. ;____;

I'm living the wee bit of cash lifestyle and I personally would just wait for MV.

The extra resources are cool and all, but they can wait until you can really afford to waste the money on them.

Of course that's just my opinion.

Add the item to your cart, and go checkout - one at a time.  The coupon thing will be listed on your basket.

If these are 90% off, frankly, it shouldn't affect your decision regarding MV at all!

To use the coupon just put the items in your basket and select coupon. It will automatically apply to the item.

As for the makers you have a coupon for both and they're 90% off. So that's like $1.38 for one and $2.76 for both. So it's manageable in that aspect unless you're trying to purchase by getting a $20 giftcard.

How long is the coupon valid? Preorder MV first (it will very likely cost a bit more than those two combined), and when you tire of MV, but before the coupons run out, buy them then.

I haven't seen any announcement about preordering. If there had been, you'd be seeing comments about it all over the place, too ;)

Wait, if you have the 90% off coupons, it works out to less than $10 total. They expire in October I believe. So, I'd say go ahead and get them. I did. Haven't looked at them yet, but I like knowing that I have them and do want to play with them eventually.

To use the coupons, sign into your HB account, add the products to your cart. When you click on your cart there will be an "Apply Coupon" selection, and it should have the coupons to choose there.

You're like me,  you want to possess all the pretty pictures and you're not happy until you do.  You're going to regret it if you don't buy all three.  You need to convince yourself that you're buying the resource pack not the engine.  $10 for two resource packs is reasonable.  Then you can preorder MV guilt free.

That would have convinced me.

If you use the coupons, it knocks it down to "practically stolen" dollars (well actually im not sure about 2k3, i havent used that one yet)!....wheres the guilt coming from?! ITS FREE TO USE IN ANYTHING OwwwwO, i repeat! ANYTHING! You know what you must do! O_____O Feed your hunger!! FOR PRETTY PRETTY PIXELATED GOODNESS!!! (but seriously, with the coupon its hella cheap, and the resources are nicer than i remember)

Just be aware that while the 2k/3 graphics are nice (in my opinion), you don't actually get very many, so if you're going to use them in a game you'll be making a lot of resources. Even more time!

The battlers are the main prize.

I'd say it's worth it but then I'm a nostalgic bugger.

hmmmm... well, I had to sacrifice buying two 3DS games so I can preorder it... Maybe preorder it? You'll probably use it in the future (not sure :( )

OK, it's not yet 30 days, but this topic isn't about MV, it's a older.

And to prevent further mixups

Closing.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
