Hi! Not much of a social butterfly but I'm buckeling down and focusing as hard as my nogin will let me on completeing my project so I figured I'd say hello now because once i get started you're likely to see me here asking dumb questions. I love to write and want to share my ideas with those that are interested, also wouldnt mind sharing ideas or opinions for those who wants that kind of stuff. I may no be social butterfly but that doesn't mean I'm unapproachable or unwilling to be social.

Hi! And welcome!

Btw, I think you should of have created another for your question about third party resources pack. Also, that question is way to large.

If you're asking if buying DLCs is justifiable, then yes. If you can't create some resources yourself or find free third party resources, there's nothing wrong in buying third party resources.

If you're asking if you should buy them, then it depends. Do you need it for your project(s)? Some are easily accessible (low price) while others are expensive. It all depends on you and your projects.

Thanks for the welcome =)

I figured it would be a big topic which is why i made it a one day poll and was fishing for freash opinions. Most reviews i read say either don't buy or buy and are as vague as the product discription on what you're actually getting while others tell you exactly what you get. I have bought ones I feel would help my project but am also currious about others that may be fun to just goof off with or might actually help with project and unaware.

Clever, I don't know what my obsession with the name Kelly is but i name the MC female of every story Kelly unintentionally. I tried changing my main projects leading female to Catherine and it just didn't sit right so it's back to Kelly lol.:rswt

I generally just buy resource packs from certain people. One reason is style incompatibility, another reason is abundance of the resources and usefulness.

There are some really good packs I can recommend.
FSM, First Seed Material
Time Fantasy, amazing retro style, lots of content and fair prize
Fes, is the content of the RPGMaker for 3DS

I prefer buying big packs like these I mentioned.
There are some other DLC which have interesting content but its either not much to make a game or it doesnt fit the RTP.
Also some things are just overpriced.

I'll have to look into those for sure, any recommendations for horror or gore themes? I'm guessing i go to resource request pages? Or is there a place I can browse whats available? Sorry for the juvenile questions but I figure I might as well ask here since this is the direction my post went.:2k32:

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
