I don't undestand why it doesn't works!
I just put the message in the actor box like this:

<Speech/Skill[1]:Test>

But nothing displays over the character when battle starts!
I tested it only from database and not in actual gameplay test tho

Test it in gameplay mode. A lot of plugins that affect battles do not actually work from the Battle Test option, as that loads the database differently and may not pick up note tags.

Also, where are you putting this tag - on an actor? I believe that would make the message show when the actor used skill 1, which is Attack. That would not make it display when the battle starts. You would need <Speech/Start...> for that.

Sorry i expressed myself wrong: i know that the command i used serve as skill message :yswt:

Anyway: i already tried the gameplay mode on another "virgin" project and doesn't works as well.

Is there a script, plugin command or note tag that I need to put in for the display time addon?

When a character gets killed, the balloon fades too fast so I tried to change the display time, but simply activating the addon plugin in a new project then changing the 2500 to a larger number doesn't seem to have any effect.

Did a test changing frame to a smaller number and balloon fades right away, guess cannot make the balloon last longer.
