I'm on the case!

EDIT:

Any chance you could give more details into the settings you're using?

I tried it myself and the TP rose normally with or without the Plugin.

It's also might be due to another Plugin you have.

Have you tried turning off all the Plugins you have besides the TP Upgrade?

Sorry for not being able to give an immediate solution. :p
Okay, so for example, i have this spell, "fire", which when being cast to any actor/hero, should add 1TP to that actor.

I tried the default setting in the databse wherein i put "1" to the "TP Gain" box; but in battle, it still added a whole LOT of TP when it hit the actor.

What i did next was to add the <TPGain:1> notetag to the notetag box instead; but the same effect happened still.

And yes, i tried these even when all my plugins are turned off except for yours. :D

[EDIT] Oh,and no matter what i do, no matter how i set the initial TP to more than zero, in battle the starting TPs of all my actors are still zero.

Good job... but...
Uhm, it would be a nice plugin... but there is not a way to modify the tp's growth for damage.
I use the tp like "Rage Gauge", and I thought that this plugin would be useful.
IMHO, I think it could be a good addition.

Just wanted to let you know I'm still aware of these issues.

I've just been so busy with other Plugins and videos I haven't had time to fix it. ;p

I'll get to it soon, I promise!

Could you go into more detail?

How exactly would you like to manipulate the TP's growth for damage?

I don't know how the growth works standardly on MV, but I thought the tp could grow by a rate of damage.

For example if Harold gets damaged of 100 HP the tp could grow by 10%, thus 10 TP.

Option for the percentage or formula to determine how much tp you earn from damage in the plugin could be a good thing.

So what about the SP-Parameter: "TP Charge Rate"

Would that work, or does it need to be more dynamic?

SP-Param "TP Charge Rate" work in that way?

So if I put 10% as rate, the enemy's damage will give me equivalent TPs?

I need to test.

Maybe I also can change the formula in the vanilla MV plugins.

I found a strange bug with YEP Battle Engine Core and other YEP Plugins:
Numeric damage and "Miss" disappear from battle when your Plugin is ON.

Edit: Sorry, It's my fault.

I must install your plugin above all Yanfly's plugins.

Umm, I found a strange error:

If you are using this together with Victor engines Passive States (http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/51625-ve-passive-states/) the plugin only works if you set "InfiniteTP" to true/yes .

if you turn passive states off and turn InfiniteTP to false/no your plugin works fine.

Edit:

Forgot the debug log:

Sorry ><

I have another problem ><

I set an Item to recover 15 % of the TP.

This is the notetag:

<TPGainPercent: 0,15>

But once I try to use the item this error pops up:

"undefined is not  a function"

This is the debug log:

How about a way to dump an actor's current TP value into a control variable?

I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the Mp bar from some characters or classes and only show Tp instead. It looks very terrible with a 0/0 mana bar for no reason. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Very nice plugin though, thanks for making it.

You can do that with yanflys core engine!

Just put these note tags into your classes note box:

<Swap Gauge 2: tp>

<Swap Gauge 3: null>
This will swap the MP and the TP bar, meaning the TP bar is now the MP bar and the MP is now the TP bar.

Then, in the core engines parameters, set " show TP bar in menu" to false.

Also, turn of "show  TP in battle" in your system tap.

And voila: no MP bar!

Worked like a charm. Thank you very much :)

Didn't work for me, then I realized it's not in the core engine, it's in the Skill Core.

Thanks for pointing that part out, I was wondering where I had saw that at!

Sorry for my absence.

First of all, thanks for answering everyone's questions, I REALLY appreciate it.

Second, the truth is I fixed it, but I forgot to upload it/I was lazy.

I'm going to go take care of it as soon as I'm done writing this comment.

Sorry for everything and thanks for reminding me!

EDIT: All right! Uploaded and ready to go!

I've decided "Attack on Equestria" should be released first... hence this new ARG channel! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClKiUI8xOVx9dsF4kRXUmxw
Check it out, and subscribe! The ARG will lead up to the video game. It's not a creepy game, but I just thought it should follow ARG standards.
For anyone interested in my project M - i finally made a gamethread about it :D

Yay. I turned 39 today. Another year older, another year closer to the grave.
I'm sure the latest post/thread in the sidebar used to have 5 posts. Was it always been like this?

Made it to the 10th video doing this! :kaocry:
