Having been sidelined with a concussion, it's been a long time since I've done anything with RPG Maker or my computer, but alas, I was able to finish this one up and release it, so without further ado:

It might be a little while before I release anything else as I'm trying to relearn a lot of what I was doing before I got the concussion and it's a slow process since I've still got bad headaches. But I want to get back to work and figured this ought to be a little motivation to do so. Enjoy!
Also, I put up instructions on how to use the talking poses. Let me know if they're understandable. I've had trouble putting thoughts together coherently lately, ha.
A couple quick updates, the dragon throne is made from some enterbrain stuff, no credit needed. The two Adelaide sprites are her talking while walking with the book, and talking while standing still. I know these updates aren't too great, but as I get back into the swing of things I hope to be a little more creative. Also, I need to finish up the rest of the default talking sprites. (whoops!)
Well I wouldn't say these are worse than mine. I think you've put a lot more work into them than I do. I especially like the Adelaide sprites that are reading from the book. I can't do anything like that at the moment unless I was to draw the book in myself, since all I can make use of at the moment is MS Paint. :lol: The RTP talking poses are really awesome too. Definitely want to make use of them in my project because they bring so much life into my setting. Maybe some more of the standard RTP 'People' sprites reading from different books would be a great addition. There just aren't enough alternate character poses, so NPCs can never seem to do anything exciting.
I'm fairly new at this. I love the sprites. The piano and pianist tile/spirte how do you get the animation to play? I tried an event, but I don't know how to select a 3x3 grid. Or, even know if it's possible. Lol.
The piano sprites I believe just need to be renamed to have a '$' at the beginning to get down to the right grid size. So '$piano' should do it. Then just set as stepping animation/direction fix on the event. (Same goes for the fishing sprites). But thanks!
And @welsh paddy, yeah I want to make more random sprite 'poses', I'll get around to doing some book ones at some point as it should be fairly easy to bang a few of those out.

Also, my terms have changed for all my stuff. While I still don't ask for credit, none of my edits, or original works are available for use in commercial projects without my consent. This is completely because of the crappy games getting submitted to Steam. I'd rather keep my work (as little as it may be) out of the controversy. So if you want to use them in a commercial game, contact me. I'm not going to charge for anything, just let me see the game you want to use them in.
Reading about metaverses recently. I can totally imagine myself in the future, logging in with VR glasses to a virtual beach villa sitting in a virtual chair, with a virtual laptop facing the sea...coding 16-bit RM.
