Traffic Movement on the Map - Trigger?

I want to fill my city maps with traffic, coming from different directions on the map. So when the player stands in the middle of the map and waits, he can see cars passing by. I have no problem with the routes, but it seems like the cars are only starting when the character goes near them.


How can I make the cars follow their route without having the character to go near them?

I believe event processing is halted when said event is too far off screen, generally not a problem unless you're working with an especially large map.


You should be able to get around this by handling your move routes via common event.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
