Hello! I just finished a Pre*Infinity Alpha build of a game I'm working on, and I want to have an English and a Japanese version. I remember seeing a line of code somewhere that you could toggle between true and false to translate it between these two languages. If someone could tell me where to find this part of the scripts, I would be grateful.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. It's at line 38 of Game_System. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

That doesn't translate the text - it just determines what character set to use. You still have to do the translation yourself.

If only it were that easy :)

I think that you would have to do it manually and with switches or variables. Yaikes and that sounds like a lot of work!
Besides, the only thing that I think you could change with that were the dialogs(only if you did both) but the interface would stay either english or japanese. I think, not sure though.
Nevertheless, it's a good idea to have a multi language game, but it's not something that's easy to achieve.
Good luck!

There are localization scripts that handle the switching of dialogue depending on the language, and they also do the interface stuff. But you still have to do the actual translation.

I can think of two - Lavra Localization, and I think Estriole wrote a script for this as well.

But remember - none of them will actually do the translating of words for you. They will all require that you have the already-translated text in an external file, and they just read from the correct file when it's time to print something to the screen.

That means you either need to be fluent in Japanese and able to do the translation yourself, or that you have someone who is fluent in both languages who can do it for you.

Hello! Guys know one good company that deals with the localization of games and applications. Here is the link https://alconost.com/en/services/game-localization I have repeatedly used their services. I was delighted with the results. Pleased with the timing of performance of work and the small price for services. Translated into more than 70 languages. Highly recommend

The last post was over a year ago.
I do hope that this was not an attempt to advertise a company.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
