Trial Activation Error

I just downloaded and installed IG Maker, and I keep getting the pop-up that my activation trial has expired.

I have installed the trial version of RPG Maker XP, but during the trial activation, it said that it had expired. What should I do ?

Trying to activate RPG Maker VX Ace lite version. I enter the details, hit 'Activate', and then the error "The underlying connection was closed: could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel." appears. Nothing happens after that.
