Trial for Mac?

Hi,


I'm interested in trying RPG Maker MV before buying, but am wondering if there is a trial available for Mac? The trial I downloaded appeared to be for Windows.

Unfortunately not yet.


There was a problem with the Mac Standalone version (which would also be the basis of the trial) and as a result currently only the Steam-Version for MacOS exists.


Degica currently waits for the japanese programmers to solve the problem and create the Mac Standalone, but most probably that won't happen until the next bugfix-update is finished.

Thanks for the reply! So to clarify, is there an issue with the full, paid version for the Mac? Or are you saying it works fine if purchased through Steam?

It works absolutely fine through steam (aside from a few minor bugs in both Win/Mac versions that are already being worked on in said planned bugfix) - and if you purchase it on this site, you'll get a key that is valid for both the steam and the (future) standalone version without paying extra.
