Troop Battle BGM

This script allows you to assign a custom battle BGM to troop objects. When a troop battle BGM is specified, that sound file will be played instead of the default battle BGM.

This is great! Saves a a bit of time by not using the Change Battle BGM event command before an important/boss fight. Useful for having specific BGMs for when you encounter a rare enemy, (like the Pupus from FFVIII...or was it FFIX? The spaceships that randomly flew by when you entered a battle...)

Is useful when you use random battles and want an different BBGM when you encount a tough, rare, easy, normal, especial troop :)

Really good and easy-to-use script :)

I'm pretty new at this am i'm planing on making a real game, How would i put in the script into the script editor, I have the comment but thats it, Thank you and sorry.

1. Press F11 to open script editor


2. On the left side scroll down until you see "Materials"


3. Click on one of the tabs and press "insert" to enter a new tab


4. Click on the new tab and then copy paste the script into it

I posted the intire script into materials and i have     @>Comment: <battle bgm: Battle7>    I'm stilling geting the normal battle music,

Am i doing something wrong or...

Update: I was using the battle testing option and i finally tried doing it in game and it works perfectly! Thank you so

much man :)

What if I wanted to add an option to announce the troop with a sfx voice tack per troop with notetag?

any way to add that option please Mr. Tsukihime.

Make sure you save the project before you battle test.

I've updated the script to support using an event command instead of specifying a filename. Compare and contrast:








Note that it doesn't matter whether you use the "play BGM" or the "change battle BGM" command.
