Ah, yes. Kidic, you'll need two things to use a proxy IP the way I tried; it involves the site MagitekElite posted, as well as a small program called "SocksCap". Here's how I tried it get it to work:
1) download and install SocksCap
2) go to the listed website
3) search for just about any proxy on the website, so long as it is "HTTP" based
4) open SocksCap
5) go to File, then Settings in SocksCap
6) insert the proxy IP's address and port into SocksCap's settings
7) using SocksCap, click the "New" button
8) on the subsequent menu, use the "Browse" button and find the .exe for RPG Maker VX Ace
9) click "Okay"
10) click "RPGVXAce" (or whatever you called the .exe) on the little menu below the buttons on SocksCap
11) click "Run!", which is to the right of "New", "Delete", and "Modify"; this will run VX Ace
12) Try to activate the free trial
Though it did not work for me, it might work for you for whatever reason; for instance, I had a problem with a CoGen DRM error with Ace previously, and found out that if I installed RPG Maker VX (not Ace), regular ol' VX's version of the CoGenDrm.dll file allowed Ace to work. Some people were able to get their own copy of Ace to work under the same circumstances, while others couldn't.
