trouble activating vx ace trial

I tried to download the RPG Maker VX Ace trial version because I wanted to try it out before I bought it and I am being told that the trial has ended though I have never touched the program. Can anyone please tell me why it's doing this to me? Also, and this is a big one, it doesn't even give me the option of the trial version.

So there's no 'quick fix' for this issue? I downloaded it like,three weeks ago, and it worked great on the Windows 8 trial, however that was expiring and I bought the Pro Version on windows 8. Upon reinstillation of the operating system, I reinstalled RPG Maker VX Ace, because it was yelling at me that it wasn't installed when I tried to run the old files. After reinstalling, i ran into the cogen drm issue, to which after weeks of toiling I finally solved today (Needed .NET framework 2.0 (I thought the 4.5 that was installed was sufficient)).

But, after the drm issue was solved, it wouldn't let me activate the trial copy! I figured, maybe it really did expire from my one email, so I subscribed using my other email(after all, I only got 2 days use out of it, not 30). I still got the same message saying my trial had expired! But my other email just receive an email telling me to have fun with the program over the next 30 days.

Regardless, I've been looking and it doesn't seem like there's an easy fix, but the mod seems to be whispering people the solution rather than coming outright and saying it on the forum. Maybe I can get in on the secret?

P.S. I really want to buy it, (Faithfull user since RPGMaker 95) but at the moment am broke. Just snagged a new job last week, so by the time it expires the paychecks will start rolling in.

EDIT: Well, I really want to be able to play on my laptop, and that's the one giving me this error, buy I was able to install it on my desktop just fine. Problem is I don't have a desk currently and have been using the TV as a monitor... See why I want the laptop?

Sorry. I tend to overexplain myself. Basically, yes, I just downloaded the trial yet it is giving me a 'trial is expired' message on my laptop.

Greetings! As you probably guessed, I'm having this issue, unable to activate a trial because it's "already expired" even though I haven't been able to use it. If you get the chance, please sent me whatever fix or instructions are needed to get past this.

I also need to help activating it. When I try to download the trial version, it always says that I need the disc for it to load. Otherwise, I can't use it.

I need a trial key too. I'm currently trying RPG Makre XP but am willing to try VX and VX Ace., but can't activate it.
