I have created a script for my personal project where I have taken some concepts from other actor animation scripts to implement an easier run, idle and overworld animation (More simplified for my project). I have so far been able to successfully implement everything with my script below, but I am having trouble with having the idle animation "reset" when I move around after it activates. Whenever I use the dash button, it looks like it is properly resetting the idle animation timer... so, having trouble understanding how to get the normal walk to reset the idle animation.

Any help on what I am missing within the script would be appreciated.

*Edit: Adjusted script for easy diagnosing for outside my project. Hope it helps.

*Edit 2: I have updated the script and it seems to be working more efficient. But, still running into the issue where I cannot get the idle animation to reset after the actor moves. I am using the $game_variables[891] for my idle time counter on this new version - to give more flexibility. If I can get the idle animation to reset after the actor starts walking, then the script will be completed.

*Edit 3: Updated the script to replace variables easily if need be and also attached a demo project to make things easier for anyone to take a look at.

Issue Resolved. Please close down.

I've been trying very hard to distance myself from my inspirations, but maybe It would be better just to accept it.

Just going to use stationary water for the randomized maps. Sure, particles would look cool... But this is about compromising and not spending countless hours making the perfect water particle for each set piece with water. :kaoswt:
Maybe I should get rid of the Banish ability in my game. It's a non-elemental spell that doesn't even appear in the magic chart. It's only there because my Elementalist doesn't use light or dark magic. It only effects summoned creatures.
