I've been having some problems importing Tile sets. I've been trying to import some more modern tiles for my project.

But when I go and try to import tiles and use them on a level, it cuts out the tiles around halfway down. Why does it do this? Can anyone help? I'd appreciate it! :D

I attached a picture of the regular Tile set. "ba" and what it looked like when I tried to use the tiles "Probs"

That tileset is not in a format usable by Ace. You can't just chuck any image into any folder and expect it to work. EVERYTHING has a specific format.

The help file, under Resources, gives the dimensions of all the A tiles and the B-E tiles. Learn what they are, export the RTP to help you understand it, and then remake your tileset in the correct format.

Also, where is that tileset from? If it's a purchased pack, you can't put it in your post at full size, as that's sharing a paid-for resource. I'm going to remove it from your post just in case.

It's pretty easy to find a VXA tileset template, but here's one just in case.

You can easily just paste them into the squares in a layered editing software, then change the BG color and voila!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
