Hi all,

I got some issues with yanfly attachable augment plugin.

I made all my Weapons (independent), i made my orbs, gems and so on to put on the weapons. I should have used the right Notetags:
<Not Independent Item>

<Augment: Gem>

MaxHP: +10%

</Augment: Gem>

<Synthesis Ingredients>

item 33: 5

item 13: 5

</Synthesis Ingredients>

This as example.

When I go into the game, I got my Items, I can go on the Weapons and see that nothing is attached. If I want to attach, it doesnt change to the menu where I see my Items to attack. it stays on the weapon.

What is bizarre, when I am in the menu to change to attachs, the cursor is not only moving up and down on the weapon, but also in the upper window where item, weapon, armor and key item is listed...

any idea what could be wrong?

You didn't change the plugin settings, I don't think. By default, the slot settings are glyph, mark, orb, orb; you need to change it to what you want it to be (gem, gem, gem for three gem slots for example).

I'd guess there's a problem with your plugin manager, based on the strange cursor issue.

Make sure you followed the instructions on the plugin help under "introduction", and that all your Yanfly plugins are in the order listed on Yanfly.moe/yep.

If that doesn't fix it, try turning off ALL other plugins except the Yanfly Item plugins, and see if it works then. If so, you'll need to turn on your other plugins one by one to identify which is causing the problem.

ok tried all this.

I controlled if all plugins are in the right order. They are as Yanfly has them in his list.

This didnt helped.

So I tried turning all plugins off. Just Item Core and Attachable Augments is on. Still does them same with the cursor :(
I even tried to delete the plugins, download them again from Yanfly and put them in again. Still does the same thing with the cursor :(

Any advice?

Thx for the info, changed this. Was only default settings for video because I deleted the plugin and put it back in ^^.

But it isnt this why it doesnt work

@Nebu did you change the plugin's parameters? The setup should go a bit like this:
-Change the plugin parameters (from glyph/orb etc to whatever you want available as the default)
-Add a tag to the weapon in question (the number of slots and the type of augment you want):
Code:
<Augment slots>
gem
gem
gem
</augment slots>
-Add a tag to the augment in question:
Code:
<augment: gem>
PARAMETERS
</augment: gem>
And that's it. Make sure you're running MV 1.5.1 or MV 1.5.2 as I'm not sure how compatible this is with MV 1.6. I know this works because I'm using it, but without more insight into your setup I don't think this is a solvable issue. Can you post a screenshot of your weapons that are taking augments?

@Nebu So I was reading through the helpfile and I noticed that the <augment: type> note actually changes the item into a non-independent item AUTOMATICALLY; that means you don't need that <not independent item> note. It's possible that note is what's causing problems for you. Try removing it and see if that fixes it.

@Nebu well I'm stumped. Beyond just trying the plugin in a blank/new project I'm out of ideas. :(

@Nebu I dunno that creating a whole new file will solve the problem, but it might help you pinpoint exactly when the plugin stops working as you rebuild the framework of your game. Wish I could help more. =T
