trying to set up symphony battle system

ok i and setting up symphony battle system and I have the YEA- core script before it and my problems is I cannot get the enemies to work right what i did was sent the monster3.pgn graphic through paint and cropped all the sprites except the rat that I am trying to use then I set the <battler set: $rat> in the enemies tab of the data base but when you run into a rat it still has the full sprite page in the positions of the original battlers instead of on the side of the screen I'm posting some screenies to help you understand

Did you read the instructions about the enemy notetags in the Symphony script config section?

I'll re read it but I was sure i read it how do i know what the horizontal and vertical of where to put the actors and enemies

bump 

someone help please i have read that section a few times but i cant seem to understand there is a section that says new battler method but I don't know if that is a tag that i need to put into the enemies notes or what

i am currenly using symphony SBS so i can help.

what is the name of the file you wish to display and what slot is it?

(Keep in mind symphony uses 0 as a starting slot)

ex:

0          1          2          3

4          5          6          7

 if you could include the name of the file in a picture that would be great.

also do you have enemy Charsets (ADD_ON) in your scripts?

ok how do i set up enemy char sets? Ok i put the enemy charset addon beneath the symphony battle script but still nothing. I have the note tag <battler set: $rat> in the notes and everything someone said i needed to initialize it somehow something in section VI in the symphony script but it looks like gibberish to me I really wanna find a place to learn the language of the scripting for rpg maker vx ace but for now I'd just be happy to get this script to work lol

It looks like that's an add-on script you need. If it's necessary, it should be listed as a requirement either in the script itself, or on the page where you downloaded the script.

it wasn't listed as required at either place but I added it to the script list anyways

OMG yes you need the 8D Kadiki add on tuse use Kaduki_8D enemy sheets or they will animated halfway in the ground.

You will need holder---will just post a pic of my scripts list (partial)



Get all those -Add On symphony scripts and place them below Symphony main in the order I have them.

(Warning don't try to add the other ones because I modified my Symphony a lot. Add the others at your own risk,)

thank you I will try adding all of these add ons.

thanks that fixed the battler graphics but the positions are the same. They are still in the default position vertical positionin the center of the screen. Instead of being in the horizontal positions they should be in.

also how do I know the X and Y of a position on the screen so I can set actors positions.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
