I am rather good with the Throw part of the program, what are you attempting to do?
I didn't say anything was bad. I just don't want the Character to throw the items he picks up.

However, I also don't want to push these items back and forth. So quasi a normal pick up and put down.

Like say: pick up an item and when you get somewhere specific with it, it auto drops?

while the player stands still and throw, it's 2 tiles, when dashing, 3 tiles.
but I believe, @TSR might or could add (if he wants too), if the player
is NOT moving, it place it in front of the player. while walking 2 tiles,
and dashing 3 tiles (this cannot be specified yet I believe).

another way if you want it NOT be able to pickup at all, or move,
you could try with an conditonal branch, but if it works with comments,
it could be harder to setup.

there is however a plugin which is a bit more controle able with pickup
with require more comments with the required item, but does not have
the effect as this one while pushing or pickup and throw which is unique.

I can add an option that make the player always drop the item in front of it. But I'm currently busy with something else so you'll have to wait a bit.

Hello! I found a bug, if you enter and exit the pause menu while riding a ship, then the speed of the ship becomes the same as during a normal walk, on a clean client without other plugins, the same thing, how to fix it?

When I'm carrying an object, and then throw the object but go into a battle before the object lands, I get a crash saying the place it lands is null

This is a great plugin, but I was wondering if you could fix an unfortunate visual glitch. I am using version 1.4.2 which I believe is the latest.

If you have followers showing and pull an object, the party leader moves back, but the followers don't. After a couple of pulls the party is a complete mess, with the party leader and the object all mixed in with them.

Would it be possible to add something so that when the party leader steps back, so do the followers?

  • Followers will move backward when the player pull an event. *Followers will be forced to gather before pulling, though.

Sadly there appears to be a problem.
When the game automatically gathers followers, most obviously at map transfers, they stay gathered after the transfer and the player freezes - cannot move, turn or open the menu. If I disable the new version of the plugin transfers happen without a hitch.

thanks for reporting. But I have hard time reproducing the bug. Can you provide more details? What do you mean by "When the game automatically gathers followers" ?
The game doesn't do that by itself, you have to use a gather followers command before the transfer command. Are you using some plugin that automatically gathers followers before transfer?

On my side, when I add a gather followers command before a transfer command, the followers gathers, then transfert to next map, and they can still move normally after that.
I also tested to keep pulling an event until player walk on a transfer event. The transfer occurs when the pulling move is over and I can move normally on next map.
And if I transfer right in front of a pulling event on the next map, still can move normally...

I might be missing something, but I can't seem to be able to reproduce the bug out of the informations I have.

This isn't where I have added a Gather Followers command. Take this transfer, for example.

Pure vanilla. What the engine does, and this was my experience with VX Ace as well, is that on transferring the player to the new map it has to gather followers so that they are all present on the edge of the new map. This is what I was referring to when I said that the game automatically gathers followers.

Here is a screen grab to show what I'm referring to. The party has just transferred to a new map using a vanilla transfer event.

As you can see they are all bunched up together. When you move the sprite (arrow keys, mouse) they unfurl into an ordinary caterpillar. However, with the plugin enabled they are stuck.
