background might be possible with battleback background if set.
there might even a work around, but I need to check that if it does.

otherwise, there need to be a small modification.
as for your location color, I dont think that is possible unless you modify
the plugin to do so.

I know a way or at least an idea to do so, but that require still modifications
to the plugin, and maybe in a way of a scriptcall or plugin command before
it saves or upon entering the location to do so.

but not currently possible.

@MatteoXXII the line may differ depending you use the original
or the modified version (with confirmation) to changet the yes/no.

another possibility is if you modified it that the line may differ too.
as mine is on line 3496. but the word "Auto Save" or the function
can take you too it.

as for your location color, I might found a tiny work around, but untested.
you could either try to "replace" Location = Location to Location = \v[x].

the \v[x] = x to a number.
in your event, when you go to the area or entrance or each map (in case
you can teleport), use control variable => script: \\C[red color]Location
the scriptcall might be a bit different, but it will push you to the right
direction to give the location a different color (test this is a text box,
before you save and see if it changes there too.

Seems like a nice idea! But now i have location in the Display Objective and i can't use Location = Location to Location but i use \c[14]: eval: info.location so i don't know if possible to add \v[x] here. Btw that's a nice thing if it work! Right now I'm not in a hurry, I'll try in a few days!

@MatteoXXII now that you mention "info.location" you can use
escape codes in your displayName, so use there \C[4]Name of location
and that should do the trick already :)

if I'm correct, it, might draw the color too.

This is really weird, why it won't let me use colors?
I thought I was having a problem with another plugin, so I tried it on a new project but it still won't let me use colors. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. :rsad:
I even copied the example from the help sheet.

Hello @Kato-A,
you need my text color plugin to apply colors in this section: TSR_textColorAddOn

*I checked, and it wasn't specified in the plugin instruction, so it's my bad...

Regards

I cannot get this plugin running, even when I use the default settings. It always says Cannot read property 'apply' of undefined at line 3007 when I try to open the load menu, 2943 when I call the save menu.

I already switched off all the plugins I use that have anything to do with fonts, text or (message) windows, but the error persists. Any idea? Any plugin incompatability I'm not thinking of?

@retrofiction can you show us the console log instead of elements?
and tell us how to replicate the issue as it does work.

if you are using MV, than include your plugin data base as well.

Nevermind, I found out that it seems as if the Shora Lighting plugin isn't compatible. Once I switch that off it works.

it should not conflict though, did you try switching? TSR above, shora below
or vice versa?

When I put the Plugin at the very top of the list, above Shora Lighting, it works!
But there is another weird issue: When I save the game and try to load it, there is an error that says: 'Failed to load: img/sv_actors/Actor1_1.png
In my game I'm not using the sv_actors, because I don't need them, the folder is empty. When I switch the plugin off, saving and loading works perfectly again.

Also, the plugin isn't responsive when it comes to adjusted game resolutions, correct? I'm using 768x432 as game resolution and the save screen is cut off at the bottom. There also seems to be no option to adjust the dimensions of the save/load screen manually. Also it seems as if I can't adjust the font size for all elements via plugin settings, 'playtime' for example?

the plugin have it size, I use fixed sizes and works on any resolution as
it scales down correctly.

missing the actor1_1 in sv is something I dont get as some plugins
or most require them to have something.

the best way if it is TSR plugin giving that error, create a 1x1 pixel
and name it Actor1_1 so there is a name for it, you can repeat it for
each missing image (copy/paste => change name) of image error.

I dont have that issue though, depending how the battle is set I think.
do you use any other save plugin beside TSR_Save?

if so, disable that one, or any plugin with save feature inside the plugin.

Thanks for helping out, but to me it felt too tedious to get it running. I coded my own save screen (adjustments weren't that huge), so all is good now :) But thanks anyway!

Hello, two questions here.

I am using TSR Save with a one-file-per-playthrough (like Stardew Valley, for example). So I disable the standard save menu and add an auto save, which is really easy with TSR. When the game starts for the first time, I bring up the Save Screen so the player can choose in what slot the game should save.

1. Can I delete the "load" option here?

Unbenannt.png

2. For some reason, the game brings up this screen twice. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I tried the command on event page 3, and I tried the Script Call "SceneManager.push(Scene_Save);" and it both cases I get the Save Screen TWICE even I use the command only ONCE. Why?

@Zion on your first question, why removing "load" as it is required to load
the saved file?

if you mean, remove it when the scene it open from scene_Save, than it
would be possible for an edit.

2) can you show the event where you use it?
as if you select a slot to save on, why not a pupup "save game?"
yes/no answer, and maybe a warning it will be overwritten, are you sure?

as I dont know stardew valley, I cannot really answer the save scene in particulair.

Knocked out two more cutscenes. Think that leaves me at 6? Last two are the two endings though so don't know if that counts as a "cutscene" but still.
Begrudgingly watched the first episode of Oshi No Ko. I didn't want to at first, but it came highly recommended.
Yeah, not a fun show

Boring: Using RPG Maker's default inventory function.
Based: Using SRD's Skill Extender to make submenus that split up items based on their use.

... Also I plan to use this for containing different levels of the same skill into one place.
Couple shots of my own window and button set stuff in action.
