Tutorial Videos Gone?

Hi, sorry if this is kind of an obvious thing, but it seems that the update eliminated ALL of the video links in the tutorials? I didn't know if anyone was aware of it yet, but when you go to the tutorial posts, there just...aren't videos. Not even broken links...no links at all.

I'm guessing there isn't anything to be done about it except for every tutorial maker to edit their posts and put the links back in, but I wanted to draw attention to it, and put it out there for anyone else who was looking for tutorials. Fortunately most of the tutorials are hosted on YouTube, so in the meantime, I guess we can go there and search for the videos.

Other than all the link issues, I really like the forum update! Searching is much easier, and the layout is nice.

Do you have a link to a specific tutorial that has this issue? I'm checking through some and they seem fine. Or do you just mean the videos are not embedded?

There are just no videos embedded in the posts at all, and it appears to be for all tutorials made before the update. SumRndmDde realized it on his beginner tutorials and posted a link to one of his videos at the end of his thread while he works on fixing the original post.

I am encountering the same problem in several threads.

My project thread also had its videos wiped when we did the update. I had to go back and redo them. So I think it's an all thread thing, and we're just going to have to hope the makers are still around to fix their threads.

the forum update could not transfer embedded links from the old forum software, there is nothing we can do about that.
However, all you have to do is search the videos on youtube to find them - only the embedding is gone, not the videos themselves.
