Tweaking Yanfly's Status Menu

Using Yanfly's Status Core plugin, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to remove the two top bars shown in the image below so the actual status information takes up the whole screen. 


I did look at the plugin's javascript but it was a little beyond me.
