High on the mountains, there is a town where the Gomblons live. Just like all other villages, town and the city, every character looks different. There is going to be a lot to discover in this town. There is a new shop, another INN and a new mini game (more info about those later). There will be a dungeon around this place to discover but I leave that for a later date.

That is absolutely beautiful!  I had to look up the composer on Soundcloud just so I could favorite it!  It's the perfect theme for your game.

Lost in battle? Don't worry! This game won't punish you to much. Unlike most JRPG games, you won't go back to the title screen. Instead you get the option to transport to some specific locations. So you don't lose any progress, you just have to walk back.





There are a lot of custom scripts like these that I haven't shown yet. Including the battle system. But let's keep that for another day.

The Main Menu is a place where everything comes together. For example, if you play a mini game in your adventure, you can replay that mini game whenever you want in the Main Menu with an extra challenge. (More information about Party Mode in the future.) 


You can access the Main Menu from the start menu. The Main Menu looks like this:





The artwork in the background can be different but this is just random:





Before you continue your adventure, you can choose where you want to continue. You can continue from your last location but you can also choose a few specific locations.


You can also unlock new challenges for Battle Mode while playing the game. You can choose in which stage you want to battle these challenges by unlocking new stages.












You can earn special coins by playing these challenges and spend them in L.J. Ware Mode to get some extra items in your adventure.



The music in the Main Menu was made by Thomas J. Peters. It has rhythm of the original Twell: Sword of Light - Main Theme in it. You can listen here to the Main Menu music:

I don't want to spoil the bosses already. However, I handle every Boss Battle different and I put a lot of work in them. Not only me, every boss gets a few concept arts, they are getting their first sprite and after that they get some animations. That's why I want to show some screenshots to show the size of the bosses. 











The music for the boss battles was made by Iñigo del Valle. It's called  Roar of the Mighty

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
