I believe this is the right place for this! But as the title says, I wanted to know if there is anything for MZ.

First one is is the ability to move the player/followers around. So, you can maybe have two characters slid towards each other for a kiss etc by shifting them on the x and y axis. I believe there is one that offsets items on the x and y axis but not for characters.

Second plugin search is unlimited balloon usage. In my old game I made a bunch of custom balloons to show different emotions, like blushing, pouting etc and I'd like to be able to do that again. I have 15 different balloons to use.

Thanks for anyone who can help me. And don't worry if neither of these exist. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! ♥

for the first issue like kissing is mostly done with a a custom sprite event, that switch
ON, but for the unlimited balloon, I dont know if that exist yet.

I know you can make a bunch of custom graphics for it. But I like the ease of just being able to slide the characters close to each other. <3

Thanks so much though for your suggestion!

if you want to be able to alot, you still need alot of custom images, not to
mention, calling the eventID,fileID, eventID2, fileID2, frames for something,
if you cando it at any picture to kiss or hug, so I think, event based would
be easier to achieve.

but anything is possible, as long you know how good you can code it and
the system can handle it, I seen stuff done in code you wont believe, but
can the system handle it? is a different story :)

  1. Not sure if it'll do exactly what you want but have you seen this plugin? :)

  2. It looks like the core scripts can handle more balloons. Try resizing img/system/Balloon.png and adding your custom balloons as new rows. The general form of the RMMZ script call for balloons is $gameTemp(character, balloonId);, where:
    • character is a character reference and
    • balloonId is the row of Balloon.png to display (1 = first row).
    Character reference examples, by context:
    • Script command outside of a move route:
      • this.character(X)
      Replace X with:
      • -1 to reference the player;
      • 0 to reference "This Event";
      • A positive number to reference an event by its ID, e.g. 5 for event ID 5.

    • Script command inside a move route:
      • The character being moved: this

    • Script commands anywhere:
      • Event ID 5: $gameMap.event(5)
      • The player: $gamePlayer
      • Follower 1 (party member 2): $gamePlayer.followers().follower(0)

    Some quick examples:
    • Script command: $gameTemp.requestBalloon(this.character(0), 11);
      "Show balloon ID 11 ('User-defined 1') on This Event."
    • Script command: $gameTemp.requestBalloon($gamePlayer.followers().follower(1), 2);
      "Show balloon ID 2 ('Question') on the second player follower."
    • Move route script: $gameTemp.requestBalloon(this, 16);
      "Show balloon ID 16 ('User-defined 6') on the character following this move route."

Gosh it took me forever to find this! But this was the original one I used for what I talked about: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/event-position-fine-tuning.1283/

As you can see from the images, all you had to do was put a script call into the event, and you could have your character approach another for a kiss! x//D It was really really easy. He ported it over to MV, but I think it's unlikely I'll see it in MZ so I was searching for an equivalent.

Wow to everything you offered! Thank you so much especially the code at the bottom, you went into such great detail that it'll really help me. I have to resize all my balloons now, but if I feel they are good quality enough I'll share them with the community. Thank you to for the link to the plugin too! You were so helpful. -hugs for you- xD

Event Fine Tuning seems nice, but not for MV though, However, Yanfly have a plugin to
offset the x and y, cant recall i's name. but Ceathyril is a nice coder :) and sure knows
her stuff around this.

I dont use MZ, but for everything is something :) but for a nice kiss, eventhing 2 people
and bows a little bit for a kiss looks better =).

Anyway, good luck on your project.

I always told my DA fans how much I hate slot machines. They're fine in games as a risk-and-reward system. But when you're spending REAL MONEY in a Vegas casino to try and hit the jackpot (which very, very few people will), it can really hurt your budget. Gambling is a bad habit, and I don't like wasting my money on a slim chance. Go to Vegas for the experience, not the jackpot.
Took the kids to a corn maze. They gave us a map and had lights at certain points in the maze. Not overwhelming... or underwhelming... just... whelming.
Okay, vacuuming fruit flies out of the air is surprisingly effective.
Finally finished my menu redesign after like a month of coding! I hate designing menus... Good news though - I thought of a complete redesign for it now, so yay...
Still no scam calls all day... also I got a quick gig designing a mascot drawing for a small business, so I might actually make some green of my own after all. That would be a perfect job for me, since I love art and digital design.
