region rrestrict type plugins are for those who try to be lazy about parallax mapping, and that is in my opinion not the best way.

it is more work but has much more options to use an invisible tileset instead - after all the region restrictions are absolute and have nothing other than walk/no walk. All the other options like ladder, counter, bush or directional passability are completely lost on using region restrictions.

Invisible tileset and Region Restrict is basically the same thing and invisible tileset is still applicable to the usage of Region Restrict. Was just talking about recommended plugins to use and invible tileset isn't really a plugin. Hope that clears things up.

Invisible tileset and Region Restrict is basically the same thing
then how do you setup a ladder - you know, the sprite always facing north even when going down - with region restrict? Or how do you setup directional passability - for a example a slide where the player can go left but not right - with region resttrict?

...?

You can still use invisible tilesets with region restrict as I've said before...

Invisible tileset and Region Restrict is basically the same thing and invisible tileset is still applicable to the usage of Region Restrict.

If you use region restrict, its just an easy to make passable and impassable terrain and an easy way to mark which is which. Yet you still can use invisible tilesets to make ladders, directional tiles and such.

Streaming more Poppet Quest game even in about 12 minutes.
Some dog owners really impress me. I'm pushing 2-3 metric tons of garbage containers that destroy everything they hit. What do you think is going to happen to your tiny dog when I run it over? And why are you crossing my path to argue with me? Have you never been hit by 200kgs of garbage?

Lesson for you folks. Never mess with an angry garbage container. Or its driver.
I didn't dispose of a file properly and now my whole game won't start: I get a script error in the Scene Manager stage of game launch. What to do? Transfer it all to a new project? That's going to be tedious. Fortunately I am only nine workdays into it.
Makin' stuff on a broken laptop yay
